Hello, Woody!

This is how our Halloween started... Grant took a late nap and we had to wake him up to get ready and go get candy!! He was crying about getting ready, and we said, "Don't you want to get dressed up as Woody??" "No!" "Well, too bad!" We basically made him get dressed and then posed him for some photos.

There's the Woody we want to see!

We took Grant to a few neighbors and he was in heaven. He kept trading his candy... he thought he had to give a piece to get a piece. That's what we get for teaching him about fairness and sharing. He ate a piece of candy between each stop.

Our neighbors put on a fun party for their daughter's birthday. Grant loved it. We hit a party, a trunk or treat and trick or treating. What a fun night!

Lake Powell Triathlon

Will competed in his first Olympic distance Triathlon 2 weeks ago. 1 mile swim- 24 mile bike ride- 6mile run. He did amazing and met his goal time: 2:44! And he did all that as it was pouring down rain in Page, AZ. He's pretty hard core like that; just look at the group of swimmers in the 30-34 age category. He's one of 3 guys without a wet suit.

Transition to bike...

Will's second lap. Much of the course was uphill!

Still smiling as he started his run. At that point, I put the camera in my pocket and ran with him. No one kicked me off the course, so I stayed with him the whole time and made sure he didn't slack.

Here's the our group of friends who all finished. We had a blast and stayed on a house boat together. Most of them were first-timers and some are going to do another one. Will just signed up to do a half-ironman in March!

We took a boat ride through the canyons of Lake Powell. It was gorgeous, but the pictures don't quite do it justice.
