Baby T has decided to wait a little longer to make his/her entrance into the world. While Baby T is waiting I am getting caught up on all the little things I hadn't made time for...like posting nursery pictures.

A little practice

Yesterday morning I got to babysit our new niece, Anna. This was a good practice for Maximus. As I suspected, there was LOTS of kisses (for both Anna and myself) and LOTS of barking for attention (mainly while I was feeding her). Luckily Anna has a big brother and dog at home so the barking didn't upset her one bit!

Showered with love...

Last weekend I had my first baby shower. It was such an amazing time with amazing, Godly women who came to help me prepare for this little one.

The theme was "What will it bee?" since we are waiting to find out. The decorations were so cute!

Mimi (Matt's talented Step-Mom) made this cute quilt to match the nursery!

Matt was happy to see that we got some UT items for baby -

especially since baby is due in the middle of college football season!

How time flies...

I can't believe we are under 8 weeks away to meet Baby Terry! It is fun to look back to see "how big" I thought I was to where I am at now.

This weekend we are putting the final touches on the nursery. Matt made the changing table & book shelf, we just need to paint it this weekend and the nursery will be ready to reveal! Can't wait to see it all put together!

Hopefully we will find some time to relax this weekend also...

Five Years....

Matt and I celebrated our Five Year anniversary July 21st

We thought it would be special to go back to the Four Seasons in Dallas where we spent the first two nights as husband and wife. The day started off with massages and then we headed to the Four Seasons to relax by the pool and then had a wonderful dinner at Via Real where our Rehearsal Dinner was held.

29 Weeks

I can't believe it has been five years - they have been so special. It is so exciting to look into the future with our first little one on its way. Can't wait to see what God has planned for us....

The Last 24 Weeks....

Wednesday, January 25th I took a little test and it came out POSITIVE!! We are having a baby....now I just had to let Matt know. My parents were staying with us so I met him at Starbucks after work. I had a present for him and told him that I had ordered him something for his birthday (which was the week before) and it just came in. He opened his present to find a UT onesie and booties - I wish I had a picture of his face. He was so excited!!

Baby T and I completed all 13.1 miles in 2:07 minutes. Goal was to break 2 hours but that was before I knew I was pregnant....just happy I finished!

Weekend Trip to the Hill Country

Matt and I had a quick weekend getaway to Lake Travis. We spent a day relaxing by the pool, met some good friends at Salt Lick for Dinner, went to Stubbs' BBQ Gospel Brunch and to the Orange & White Scrimmage.

On the way home we went hiked up Enchanted Rock and saw amazing bluebonnets.

We sent out an Easter Card to all the family to announce we are expecting!

With the grandparents in town Easter Weekend we thought it was the best time to share with the family our exciting new - everyone was so happy and shocked.

The last 24 weeks have flown by and it has been so exciting to share our special news with all our friends and family. I am due October 6th and we are excited to welcome this precious little one into the world. We have decided to wait to find out what we are having. This week we have started working on the nursery...pictures to come!
