The Gee Family

Carter is such a happy baby.  He is always laughing and smiling and "talking".  He has the best laugh.  It just lights up his whole face and it's kind of a deep belly laugh.  I love it!

Here Carter is playing in his Christmas toy Santa brought him.  He's starting to really like it and reach for and play with the toys on it.  He still isn't tall enough for his feet to reach the bottom to jump in it, but he still like hanging out in it.  (He's our runt!- only 24 1/2 inches)

We had our traditional "Half Birthday Party" for Carter.  We only decorated "half" the room, had "half" cookies, had "half" plates and napkins, etc.  You get the gist of it.

So, we have yet another child who needs a cranial helmet.  (not sure what it is about our kids...)  Carter has a messed up head, like Nathan did, so we had to get him a cranial helmet.  Luckily, this time around, our insurance decided to pay for it, so we only had to pay $300 rather than $3600.  Whew!  I'm not too happy about him having to have a helmet.  I don't like them much and I miss being able to kiss his soft head, instead of a cold, hard helmet.  But, I'm trying to have a better attitude about it and realize it's for his own good and to get over my head kissing issue.  Phil is going to "decorate" it with BYU stickers so it will look like a football helmet.  Despite the helmet though- Carter is still such a cutie!

How can you not smile and be happy after seeing these pictures?

Today, Nathan started preschool!  He was so excited to go.  He did great- didn't even care that I left.  Here are some pictures of our Big Boy!
