#March Ends

Meg practices her graduation walk on Sunday nights.  It's funny.  Andy helps.
FHE was dyeing Easter eggs.  Maisie decided it was our best year, yet.  I decided that we mostly have big kids, so it was our best year.
Austin and Molly were the best team.
 Maddie.
 Maisie and Ryan duo.
 Triplets.
Baby Gambino app has proven quite the laughter.
 These athletes iced their legs.
I had this watercolor painted for Christmas.  Austin and Nick made the frame and hung it.  I love it.
My sweet peas are growing.  Heart.  Heart.  Heart.
 Andy raced well this week.
Meg raced well.  She is now ranked first in Division 3 in five events: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, and 4x400m relay.
Maisie was really playing this game.
Meg went to prom in Flagstaff with Chaz.
 They are darling.

The five other boys met up with blind dates.  This girl and these six boys traveled up their together.

We ordered a size 12 dress and I tailored it to fit her size 0 frame.  (Did I already post this?)

This afternoon I took these next four pictures within 30 seconds of each other.  We had peaceful music playing, and everybody had a friend.  I love this family of mine.

(I actually tried to lighten his face.  I thought I did.)
These two napped for two hours.  Jealous.
This is Eddie's new toy.  Everyone loves building.

Eddie's #7

My tiny little bitsy boy is 7 today!  So I pretty much planned our best Saturday birthday to date.  We began the morning early preparing cupcake pallets and brunch food.
Grandma and Grandpa B. came for a lovely breakfast, gifts and cake.
Eddie wanted Ninjago legos.  His wish was granted.

He is the luckiest boy to have these two who love and encourage him.
After breakfast we decorated our cupcakes.
Then we played flag football for at least an hour.  Our ten people can make up two opposing teams.  The weather, the green grass, the timing, the sport, the talent made our game a huge success.
Meg decided we had worked so hard that we needed to ice our legs.  Nope for me.
He spent hours on the floor building his Ninjago sets; he threw me a seven.
Then we headed to the movie theater.  (Andy was going potty, and Meg was at prom.)  Molly was a disaster despite the popcorn and candy.
Home again for cupcakes and candles.  Look how he is throwing his entire body into blowing out that one candle.

 He's the cutest.
We finished the day with scriptures.  Eddie has the smallest fingers.
This year Eddie has progressed into an independent reader, though he still fights me to get it done.  He swims like a fish and can throw a perfect spiral with the football.  He loves to kiss Molly and kick the bloody daylights out of Ryan (why?).  He still is the pickiest eater; he never eats beans or strawberries.  Eddie knows how to clean his room empty the dishwasher.  Hopefully he will forever sit in a booster and only lose two teeth.  He's the best.

Busy Bees

These helpers sit for hours in the kitchen.  They stir and measure all sorts of concoctions.  How I love my two little shadows.
Our popcorn tree is in full bloom.  Welcome spring!
MUHS Sedona meet was eventful (pardon the pun).  Andy ran the 3200m.

 And the 4x800m.
He also ran the 300m hurdles. He was exceptional.
Meg tried the 100 m for the first time, and she provisionally qualified for state.  She's an animal.
Austin and I went to Gammage theater and laughed through, "The Play That Goes Wrong."  It was hysterical.  Laughing with and loving my sweetheart is easy. (I'm trashing him in our annual March Madness brackets.)
Eddie played in his first football game. He played the best he could.  We cheered for him -- he needed it.
Saturday night we had two HUGE events.  I went and saw Garth Brooks live.  Austin went to Meg's Chandler invitational.  I gave his ticket to my BFF.
We went with three other couples and had just a lovely time.  Every person in that stadium, 75000 fans, sang all the words to all his songs.  He didn't need to sing, but he did.
Selfie.
We paid a ton of money for seats way up in the sky.  The jumbotron aided my failing eyes; earplugs shielded my sensitive ears -- I am old.
MEG!  She broke her PR and ran a 2:15.02 in the 800m.  She placed fifth in the elite race with girls from all over the western states.  She ran her heart out.  That girl!
Eddie was sung his birthday song today in primary.  He almost smiled once.
Three bouquets of spring flowers fill my table.  Austin gave me the tulips.  Bruce gave me the daffodils.  Silas asked Meg to prom with the roses.
But, she had been asked the night prior by Colton.  She is excited about her senior prom.  Mormon prom is this weekend, and she is counting down the days.
They were on my phone.  Shocker.
My life is changing every moment.  I rarely feel like I'm loving these beautiful people like they deserve, though I do fall into bed each night exhausted.  They better know I do it all for them -- at least I hope they know.  Here's to hoping that my efforts are magnified, and my children stay strong in their faith of Jesus Christ because their mother never missed daily family scripture study and prayer, "Come Follow Me" lessons, and Sunday family choir. Oh, I trust it will work, but it takes all my faith.
