Feeling Feeble

I did not document this week with my phone -- I remember laughing, crying, yelling, praying and pleading.
Andy serves himself all the carrots.  PSA: Make sure you've served yourself before it's his turn.
FHE torture.  Yes, there was peace. No, it was not in this moment.
The master bedroom reno is well underway.  Austin gets his crew together every night, and they work.
And then Saturday came.  Four games of football.  Eddie managed a pick six.  Nick's team actually scored.  Ryan hiked the ball like a champ.
The adult session of stake conference was a broadcast.
We all watched Grandma testify of the new norm including Jesus Christ.  She's a WOW factor!

Maisie helped Austin hang a new chandelier -- it's product name is Maisie.
Sunday we watched conference, sang lots of family choir songs, and played games.  The peace of this restful sabbath day was heaven sent.  I actually recharged (I went to bed last night and checked my watch healthy body battery.  It told me that I had used 64 and only rechared 6.  That was the first time I checked that app, but it summed up how I felt.  What a blessed miracle that I was able to sleep in, pray earnestly and love wholly.  I should check the app again tonight.)
I baked and ate millions of cookies with helpers. https://www.melskitchencafe.com/the-best-swig-sugar-cookies/
In the evening we went to our grandparents' house to collect eggs, chase chickens (I will train them not to do that next time), eat popcorn, and be loved.
This week was hard because my bedroom is still out of commission.  Maisie explains it as being homeless in my own home; she feels the strain because we kicked her out of her bed.  The meals and laundry still went as planned, but life seemed more painful.  Piano lessons, reading and learning happened, but I was too out of sorts to enjoy.  I will try better to embrace the chaos and just jump on the tramp with the zest and zeal for life like they do.  Oh, I love jumping -- I need to remember that.

Falling into February

Austin painted our bathroom last weekend.  I moved my plants around a bit to make this bathroom feel filtered.
Maddie went to gym and did about 50 back-hand-springs.
Molly wanted to exercise with Maisie, so she put on her workout clothes.
I have completed 500 Peloton workouts across their different platforms -- they finally sent me my century ride shirt.
Someone took this of Eddie and I reading together.  I liked it.

Ryan took a video, and I am happy and laughing.  I wonder how often I really laugh and prove that I am enjoying this world I've been blessed to create.

Eddie, Ryan and Molly went to Grandma's house to make valentines and spend time with her.  They always come home loved and so tickled.
Thursday we exchanged valentines with our homeschool group.
Maddie's traditional hair.
Friday and Saturday Austin and his four sons ripped out the tile and carpet to begin our floor demo.

I stayed out and cleaned up the dust and made the meals.
We gathered with friends to play Bunko.  Lovely food and friends made for an evening of delight.
Sunday was Valentine's Day!

We had early church and cold weather.

Nick stayed after for a meeting.  He wore and nice red sweater.
It's her red tights and shoes (and tiny red nails) that make me grin from ear to ear.
Grandma and Grandma came to lunch.  We ate then watched Andy pin his guy yesterday.
Then we studied our CFM lesson, played games, memorized gospel mastery verses, and ate crepes.  Nick came hopping out in Andy's hoodie -- both his arms and legs are in the arm holes. AHAHAHHA!
To remember:
Andy was really excited to get his first pin. We prayed for him all week.
It rained, just like we have been fasting and praying.
MUHS will begin again -- answering Maisie's prayer.
Nick worked alongside Austin for hours -- Nick was an answer to Austin's prayer.
Austin found a lady to temp this week -- another miracle.
Molly played "firefighter" with Eddie and Ryan and they didn't burn the house down.
I am reading Girl of the Limberlost long into the night, and I was acutally nice -- mercy.
Meg is healthy again, just like we've pleaded to the heavens.
Our prayers are answered.  We just need to ask and then work really hard.

February Facts

Maddie and Molly choreopgraphed a new routine on the hoverboard.
We propagated geranims in science.
Meg is sick.  Elijah is running fast.  Meg will get better.  Elijah keeps running faster.
Tuesdays are our field trips.  We went bowling.  I sat back and watched each personality shine through.

  • Maisie "pinged" from comment to comment throwing out connections and random strategies.
  • Nick successfully nailed his clever one-liners, "FOR NARNIA!"  Then he dropped the ball and got a couple strikes and a spare.  He won.
  • Maddie was her usual quiet self, and she was losing (she's used to winning everything), so she was more quiet than usual.
  • Eddie strategically played by learning how to score before we arrived, then knew about the three tries in the 10th frames.
  • Ryan threw his ball down the lane.  He hopped and skipped with taking his ball up to the lane.
  • Molly used the ball slide for her body, and passed the line into the oiled lane and slipped.  She wanted to leave early.
We also watched Maddie's gymnastics class.
Maddie can do lots of tricks.
Nick learned a cool new trick.

Maisie watercolored a monchromatic still life.  Say that ten times fast.
Friday night I coordinated a flag football game.  We had so much fun, then landed at a restaraunt.
Saturday was six hours of flag footbal.  Nick caught the touchdown ball.
Eddie and Ryan both had a few carries.  Grandma and Grandp were so nice to come.  Austin spent the day repainted our bedroom and bathroom.  I didn't take one picture?
Sunday morning was quiet and slow -- Fast Sunday always is.

This is our third year celebrating the Super Bowl by eating a whole bunch of food.
