Big Sister

Camryn really is a great big sister: she's helpful, sweet, and looks out for her baby brother. And sure, she has her moments, but she's not even 3 1/2 yet! I have to remind myself that a lot because she talks so much and has so many big ideas that she seems older, or at least she does to me.

This morning I asked her to help me get him ready - mostly just to keep them busy so that I could have two minutes to brush my hair before work - and she tells him, "Bubba - sit on your bottom." And, it takes him a minute, but he does. Then she tells him what she is doing and how to do it and why and I really should have recorded it because it was too cute. I'll have to ask her to help again and try to get it on film. So sweet.

Winterfest 2012

When Winterfest rolled around this year, we wanted to take the kids since we've never been and
Camryn always has such a good time. So, we all met up at the festivities and boy, was it crazy! It was a lot of fun though.

Camryn wanted to get her face painted and of all the face paintings, she picked the A&M... we were very proud Aggies. :)

After all of the fun, and while Cody napped, Camryn and Kevin watched a movie, each holding princesses (the things Daddies do for their daughters). One of them appears to be a little more tired than the other:

Photo Books, by Year

Inspired by another mom, I have been wanting to complete photo books for each year, for each baby. I have recently completed three books for Camryn - 2008, 2009 and 2010. I am now working on Cody's 2010 book. I hope to finish their 2011 books in January - want to be sure I get all the pictures from the holidays in the book!

I have LOVED doing this. I used Shutterfly and really love their program. It took some time (maybe 4 hours per book, to get it just right), but I cannot wait to see the finished product -- should arrive any day. In the mean time, I thought I'd also share the books here. Funny how I can look through them over and over again - especially Monkey's books - can't believe how fast the time flies.
