Baby Fouts

Bree is now 6 months old and sweeter than ever! She loves to be talked to but no one can make her laugh as hard as her big brother can! He does this all by just saying “Bree you laugh”. James and I just smile every time we hear her laughing but we love it even more when we realize it’s because of Blake! He sure loves her and we can surely tell that she loves him too! (Even if she is pulling his hair!) He has sure come a long ways with her and this being said because when we were first bring Bree home from the hospital he tried getting out of the car and was crying hysterically telling me not to touch her. Talk about breaking this mama’s heart! But he now claims her proudly by telling people “that’s my baby Bree!” Bree you are such a sweet blessing to us and we love you more then you will ever know! You are growing up so fast but we wouldn’t want it any other way! You are truly loved by so many!

(This post is a little late. On July 22nd she will be 7 months old.)

The past few months have been absolutely crazy for the Fouts family! We had a water leak in our kitchen about 3 months ago and had no idea until it was way too late! We noticed mold on the kitchen wall and knew that we needed to move out ASAP! Having a 2 year old with allergies and a new baby that has been severally congested since day one made us realize that this may have been what was causing all of us to be so sick! We packed our bags and headed to my parents. We thought we would only be there 3 to 4 weeks but turned out to be more like 8 weeks! We were truly blessed to have somewhere to go. I can not even imagine having to live out of a hotel with two little children and a husband that works 24 hours every 3^rd day! I have been such a better more calm mother this time around and I’m not sure if it’s just because I am a second time mother or if its because I have had so much help these first months of Bree’s little life. (So let’s just say both!) I can’t believe that we didn’t take one single picture of our kitchen before or during the remodel but I do have plenty of after pics! James decided to take on the roll as contractor to save us some money for new appliances and I must say I was a little hesitant at first but could not be more proud of the work that he has done. He along with his dad and my dad did an awesome job! I am so very appreciative of my father for not only helping out so much with the kids but also helping James move the furniture to HIS garage and tear out/hang new drywall! I am also very appreciative to James father for driving in from Lewisville to paint the kitchen/living room and to help James lay our beautiful new floors! He was also more then willing to drive to Wichita Falls and pack up the kids and I to take us to Lewisville for the weekend! This was extremely nice since I didn’t care to drive with the kid’s by myself since James was in the station. It was also nice to give my parents a much needed break from all of their hard work! James and I are both just so tremendously thankful and blessed to have such loving and caring parents in our life! I know we wouldn’t trade them for anything! I had such a bittersweet feeling when we moved back home. It kind of felt like the day I moved out of the home I had known for so long after James and I were married! However, I do so love my beautiful kitchen and can not give James enough kudos for all of the hard work he has done! But if he is reading this lets now move on to the outside of the house/fence! Isn’t 2 weeks enough rest for now?

New Kitchen

My baby boy isn’t a baby anymore and my baby girl is growing way to fast! We have now started potty training with Blake and this will surly be an adventure!

We have the following:

New “talking potty” – Check

Big Boy Under-Ware “Spider-man, Toy Story and Car’s” – Check

Gummy Fruit Snacks – Check

Gumball Machine – Check

Potty Book for Boy’s – Check

After looking at my list you would think that we had it all and it shouldn’t take anytime for him to learn, Right? Well, that’s what I thought until he told me “I’m just going to go in my diaper, Ok?” We will just keep trying! He never ceases to amaze me or make me laugh and smile!

Bree is just precious and such a happy baby! She has been smiling since she was 5 weeks old and hasn’t stopped. I was even giving her a bottle last night and she stopped looked up at me to smile! But no one gets her to laugh more then Blake! I will catch him getting right by her in her exaucer to talk to her and she will just through her head back and laugh at him! It’s hard to believe that she is almost 5 months old but like my mom says you wouldn’t want it any other way!
