Christmas Holiday's and all these Birthday's 2008

My parents wanted to send out a Christmas card this year with the whole family but with our families growing it’s hard to get everyone together. With Brian in Abilene and James in the station every 3rd day we are not all together a lot! Not to mention now that the kids are getting older they are more involved with friends, sports, exc. So my parents just took a picture with all the grandkids. I was not here for this but I know exactly how it went! Here are a few pictures to see for your self. I do know that Becca must have been involved with ALL of the baby smiles! There is no telling what all she was doing!

I’m excited about tonight’s plans. It’s Chase’s 8th Birthday and we will be going out to eat but after dinner I will be taking Taylor and Chase to the hockey game at 7:00pm. Chase’s party is tomorrow night but we have to have fun tonight as well! Tonight is Fireman / Policeman appreciation night at the hockey game. James was called to be there. They are going to have a tug a war between the Fireman and Police. (I’m sure that his size and strength have nothing to do with why he was told to be there.) Don’t you worry I will be taking my NEW camera for this! I hope you all have a great weekend and we cant wait to see everyone for Christmas! Blake misses his Nonie and Grampy!

The Weekend

As you may know this weekend was mine and James 5 year anniversary! I can't believe how fast and how far along we have come in just 5 years! James and I have so many things to be thankful for! James surprised me with a new cannon camera for our anniversary! I love it! I will not have to take anymore pictures with my cell phone. Blake's Honey and Poppy watched him so that James and I could have a date night. We are so used to having Blake and not going out that we didn't have a clue as to what we wanted to do. We decided that we would order food from Johnny Carinos rent a movie and just stay in. So that's what we did and I would not have changed it! I have posted a few new pictures of Blake from the weekend. I hope that you enjoy them. He is so ready for Santa to come!

Happy Birthday Riley! 12-02-08

Happy 1st Birthday Riley!

My little niece celebrated her 1st Birthday on Sunday! Her Birthday is actually tomorrow but we went ahead and had her party last night. I’m sure that we will celebrate until her real birthday since she is her mother’s daughter! lol Becca gets a whole birthday month! For Riley’s present I wanted to get her a baby because she always wants to touch and pull on Blake so I thought that she would love a baby doll that looks like him. The baby that I found just happens to be a Cabbage Patch Doll that wears blue and is bald just like Blake so I knew she would love it. We wrapped it and gave it to her last night and of course she loved it! But the funny thing is that my other niece Taylor was reading the “Cabbage Patch Oath” to Riley. Did you know that there is an oath???? Well this is done after you adopt your baby so that you understand that you need to love and take care of your cabbage patch baby. Anyways while Taylor was reading the baby’s personal information we learned that the new family baby's name is Winston Todd (for those of you that don’t know my father n laws name is Winston) Little Winston’s Birthday is
8-30-2008 (this is only 2 days after Blake was born) and to top it off little Winston came with a book titled “Pepper Loves to Play” (which my n-laws also have a dog named pepper!) Little Winston was destined to be apart of our family! Riley had a great time but wasn’t sure what was going on! It might have been because we all were wearing birthday party hats. Blake was even wearing his hat as you can see! I can’t believe that it has been a year since she was born! So much has happened in a year! We have increased our family by 2 in 9 months! So much fun!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RILEY!!!!

I Love The Holidays!

I love the Holidays! This is an exciting week! Justin and Joanna Veal brought there precious little girl over for the first time to meet us! She is so sweet! Joanna and I really bonded during our pregnancy because we were only 8 weeks apart so we would always compare what was going on! We did this a lot instead of calling our doctors every day! We are very blessed to have such healthy babies!

Look how much bigger Blake is and only 8 weeks apart!

Last year we spent Thanksgiving in Gunbarrel City with Mama T and Papa T. I had such a good time! It was so nice to get away and relax. Not sure how much relaxing I’ll get to do this year with Mr. Blake here! =) This year we are going to Quanah to spend it with my grandparents. I don’t think that we have been to there house for Thanksgiving in about 10 years so we thought that it would be nice to go there. James already has his four-wheeler loaded up ready to go! My nephew would be so upset if James didn’t take it since we’re going to “the farm” as Chase would say. I hope you all have a Happy Turkey Day!

I love my mommy and my cereal!

Our Weekend!

This picture was taken Friday night. Blake was in such a good mood! He is laughing and smiling so much these days! He is such a Happy Baby!

James and I were able to go on our first date night since we had Blake! Jeri and Winston came to town to see us (I mean Blake) and they watched him Saturday night so that James and I could go to dinner and a movie. Thank you for that! We went with Brian and Becca (my brother and sister n law) who also didn’t have their kids. They were with their Honey and Poppy. (my parents) We went to eat at On The Border and then to see “Fireproof”. I recommend that every married couple go see this movie! It is a good Christian movie!

On Sunday we had a really good day as well. James went duck hunting Sunday morning but then met us at church. He actually beat Blake and me to church. I can’t express just how excited I am that duck season is here! =( BOO James and I found the sound proof infant cry room at church and we decided that this was where were would be spending the next year at church. After church we went to my parent’s house for lunch. Brian and Becca and the kids were there as well as Becca’s parents. We had a great time! After lunch James and I left Blake with my parents so that we could pick up the house and take a nap! Naps are such a gift these days! Then after our nap we went back to my parents for dinner and to let Chase and Taylor ride James’ 4-Wheeler. We also watch the Cowboy’s play! (Yea they WON!!!!) What a way to end the weekend! I hope you all have a good week!

BLAKE’S FIRST HALLOWEEN!!!

We are so excited about Blake’s first Halloween! Even though he is too little to know what’s going on we did get him a Halloween costume! Well I got him his costumes. He was going to be a puppy but let’s just say that the puppy costume was a little awkward. The more I looked at it the more it looked like the dog from the movie “The Never Ending Story” does anyone remember that movie? So he is going to be a baby calf. Yes a calf not a cow, because I was informed by my brother that a cow is a female and as we all know Blake is not! So he will be wearing his CALF costume and will be attending his first Halloween Party tonight at his great aunt and uncle’s house. I will post some of his Halloween pictures along with his little cousin Riley. Who will be a little butterfly! We had a dress rehearsal last night and I must say that she is the cutest little butterfly that I have ever seen!

I hope everyone has a HAPPY “SAFE” HALLOWEEN!
