The Hayward Family

Monday night we took the boys to dinner and then went to look at Christmas lights in Deerfield. This is one of our favorite family traditions. The boys absolutely loved all the lights and decorations!













And this is our favorite house to go see in our neighborhood!

Jack had his first Christmas Program performance last week and he did awesome!! We are so so proud of him. His class sang two cute songs and did a wonderful job. So proud of my baby boy!




Jack's class had their Christmas party in the afternoon.  We made two little crafts and had treats.

Will's class performed on Thursday and Friday since they are in the full kindergarten program.  His class stayed out on stage during the entire performance and they did amazing.  They sang 5 songs and did a cute Christmas poem.  Will is such a ham and was singing loudly and dancing.  So proud of both of my boys!!







Will's class had their party right after the program.  They decorated a cookie, played a cute little game and made a gingerbread house. 




I really love their school, and love all the fun things they get to do during Christmas season.  The boys have been blessed with wonderful teachers and classes this year.

We started off Saturday with Porter's birthday party at Main Event!

Then we headed to Grapevine to ride the Polar Express with the Hayward clan.  The boys LOVED the train ride!
Each boy got a magic bell......just like in the book.


That evening we met Heather, Dan and Mason in Frisco Square for dinner and cupcakes!





Such a wonderful day!

Last Thursday/Friday we had a huge ice storm! School was cancelled on Friday and Monday. We had a long weekend stuck at home and iced in! The boys thought the ice was fun on Friday....but since we couldn't really play in it, they didn't stay outside too long.

All the grocery stores around us were out of milk, bread, cheese and meat.  Pretty crazy...




The boys sledded down the driveway!

On Monday we were able to drive to the mall to drop off our donations and run a few other errands.

This was on the 5th day of ice........go away ice!!!!
