Mom + Dad = Me

Lorelei turned 12 months old on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. She is officially a one year old! This month she has started crawling (finally) and is pulling herself up on her busy box and the coffee table. Her first year has been such a joy and she is just a sweet little thing :). Waking up to her smile every single day is one of the best gifts ever!

Lorelei turned 11 months old on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Can you believe it? Almost a year old! I always find myself asking the same old question, "Where does the time go?" Anyway, she continues to be a happy baby. She really enjoys sitting and playing with her toys and has really started to enjoy and get into music. "Baby Bye-O" is her favorite song :). She loves to babble and make raspberries. She still has no teeth and is also not crawling. Hoping the latter is coming soon because I would like her to crawl before walk!

We took our annual Labor Day weekend trip to Traverse City with Jeff's side of the family. We made some awesome memories and had such a GREAT time! I took SO many pictures that it will take me a long time to upload them all but here's a collage of some of my favorites :).

Lorelei turned 10 months old on Thursday, August 18, 2011. She continues to be one happy baby girl :). This month she really started expanding her solid food intake. She is enjoying carrots, apples, blueberries, peas, green beans and occasionally some spinach! She is content most of the time just sitting and playing with toys although, is starting to make some attempts at scooting when lying on her stomach. Hopefully, she will get the whole "crawling" concept soon! She is enjoying bathtime with her brother and is one wild splasher in the tub!

Lorelei turned 9 months old on Monday, July 18, 2011. 9 months, already? Yes, it is true! At her pediatrician well visit on Friday, her stats were the following: Weight: 18.5 pounds (50%), Length: 27 3/4 inches (75%) and Head Circumference: 17 inches (25%). The doctor said she looked great and her development is right on track. She's a babbler this one! Very social and loves to flash her cutesy girl smiles at you :).
