Valentine's Day

This year we continued our Valentine's Day traditions of having heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast, heart-shaped grilled cheese for lunch, and lots and lots of candy throughout the day. We were able to join several of our friends for a Valentine's Day dinner, which made the day extra sweet. :-)

Making them was twice as fun as eating them.

This card sang, "I want candy!" which was very fitting for Brendan...

These were from my boys (all three). So sweet.

The following pictures are a tribute to Hadley's first Valentine's Day:

Love those eyes...

Always smiling...

For Had, the Superbowl balloon was more fun than the candy.

Here are the pics from our dinner with friends:

Yes, B is wearing a purple hat. It's Sophie's, not his. Kids wear their friends clothes, right? He was certainly excited to be sandwiched between two cute girls on Valentine's Day.

Had and Lara are just about a month apart in age. I think he was more excited than she was about this Valentine's Day play date.
