Yesterday was Kacey's birthday!!! My baby girl turned 4!!!! WOW!! She woke up with a smile :)
We lounged around the house for a while then headed down to Montrose and went to the toy store. Kacey got to pick some things and got a barn for her horses from GG. She picked a couple of new horses from me. :)

We then went to lunch and after a bit, David just started crying mid bite. We assumed he bit his tongue or something. My mom picked him up and after a few minutes he just passed out. I guess he was tired!
Kacey stayed awake and got a birthday ice cream!
Later in the afternoon we went to my aunt and uncles house where the kids got to go swimming.

We then had dinner and after dinner, the kids got ice cream again!!!

Today the kids got a package in the mail and it was these adorable backpacks from Auntie Gen. They immediately put them on and were so happy with them.

All in all it was a wonderful birthday!!!

Kacey was chasing David around the house and tickling him. They were both cracking up and having fun which was pretty great in itself. David came by me and then looked at Kacey and said "No! No!" So I told her to stop and she did. He then smiled real big and gave her a tiny shove against the wall and said "Time Out!" I bust out laughing and couldn't stop. It was so damn cute. He then started pulling on her and said "C'mon!" and they resumed the chasing and tickling.

As you can tell from the mass amount of postings today, I am attempting to catch up and with this final post I am exactly that, CAUGHT UP! I got a new laptop so I should have no excuse to not stay caught up from now on. Hopefully!

This one is from Alex, she watched the kids for a day and sent this in the middle of it, everyone had a ton of fun. I think I should drop my kids off more often!
At one of my friends houses, Kacey made these little nests with another boy. She brought them home and put them in some plants so birds could find them.
While she was doing that, David climbed all over the back yard. Kacey then got the camera and took a couple of pics of him.




GG got Kacey this dress and I thought she looked pretty enough for a picture!
My cousin Renee brought over a couple of presents for the kids. She handed David his wrapped gift and he grabbed it and said "Oh yeah! Book!" and ran into his room to open it. He then got Renee to come in and read it to him.

Miss Kelly celebrated Kacey, David and Taline's birthdays at once. Notice Taline at the end wrap her arm around Kacey to blow out the candles together. :)
One of David's favorite activities is to sit in front of my computer and watch the screensaver, it shows pics stored on my computer. He will sit in there for up to 20 minutes naming everyone he sees and laughing. It's fun to listen to him chatting away in there.
 
Kacey and David's friend Henry gave the kids these noise tubes for their birthday. Cute video of David playing with them and Kacey showing off as a big sister butting in.

One of our favorite restaurants is Joselito's. Our usual waiter is Mario and Kacey likes to tell him her new Spanish words. It was only fitting that we had to go there to celebrate hers and David's birthdays. Coincidentally, Kacey wore a dress that my cousin Megann brought her from Mexico :) She looked perfect for the occasion!This video is a bit dark and I tried to lighten it but it's the best I could get in the restaurant.



When she originally got dressed she also put on a vest from Thailand, an Easter bonnet and a Japanese fan. My international girl!

On Mother's Day we went to the Renaissance Faire. Kacey loved it, David not so much. He got stuck in the stroller most of the time because whenever we would let him out he would run into crowds, over to the port a potties or try to get into the roped off areas. It was a such a pain chasing him!! Kacey on the other hand was wonderful, she listened and stayed near us and never ran off. She followed every fairy around that she could find. I think we could have left her there and she wouldn't have noticed we left.




She got to make a bracelet and did pretty good with it.
She got a special pin for being a helper at the archery area (handing arrows to her daddy)
