David's Birthday was on Wednesday, May 22nd. He turned 3 years old!!!!! I know everyone says this all the time, but wow! time flies!!!! He started off the morning by getting to open the garage and find his present from mommy and daddy. Note Kacey is wearing her soccer outfit. I put her to bed the night before in her pajamas. When I saw her in the morning I asked when she got dressed. She said she changed before going to sleep so she wouldn't have to waste time in the morning. She wanted to wear her soccer jersey because it has a 3 on the back. WOW, she is just getting so big.
A new balance bike!!! No more tricycle!
Later in the day, Kacey got to help stuff goody bags for David's party.
Surprise! A bounce house!!!
Oh goody!!! This is so exciting!
David got to be the first to go in.
Kacey, Lilli, Ollie and David jumping the day away.
Alex made this adorable banner and cupcake toppers, David approves.
Blowing out 3 candles.
A little downtime with daddy during the party.
We got a super big pizza and Kacey was in heaven.
Daddy and David!
After the party, the kids who were left go to watch a movie.
It's a great party when someone passes out on you and you just don't care.

David's family birthday dinner
We decided not to do a big joint birthday party for the kids this year. So they each get a Sunday family dinner and a playdate party. Keeping it simple and small. :) So on Sunday we celebrated David turning 3. Here he is lounging on his Uncle Tom.
Happy Birthday David!!!
Fun times as brother and sister.
Lightning McQueen and Mater got to enjoy the remnants of the cake.
Video of David and his cake.

Kacey's Birthday Celebration at Disneyland
When I was five I got to go to Disneyland with my parents and sleep at the Disneyland Hotel. I don't have a lot of memories of it but I remember the hotel. So a year ago when everyone was having massive parties, I asked Kacey if she wanted to go to Disneyland for her birthday instead of having a party and she said yes! So for the past year she has talked about it and the time finally came. Jamie had some time off work so we could go during the week. We spent Monday at Disneyland and Tuesday at the Grand Californian Hotel (the one that is part of California Adventures.)
The first ride we went on was Star Tours of course. We even went on it twice!
Showing off the present she got to pick.
We then went to the Padawan training. This is where they get to learn how to use a lightsaber. Kacey jumped up and down saying "Pick me!!!!"
Fortunately she did get picked. :) Here she is going to get her robe.
She even got put on the stage.
OOOOOHHHH Darth Vader and the Sith.
Fighting Darth Vader
After the training she became an official Padawan.
Then we got some lunch where she got to have an orange soda. Very happy about that!
At lunch they called the kids on stage and Kacey went running. She loves being on stage!
We rode Splash Mountain. She was not a fan. :)
Tom Sawyer Island. Fun times running over the bridges, climbing through the caves and tunnels and just having a blast.
Kacey and daddy found the treasure!
Her first (and last?) cotton candy. Birthdays sure are special.
Around 4 she actually said she wanted to go to the hotel for a nap. We walked into the room and her face lit up. Do I get to pick one of these big beds for myself?! She then got in and covered up.
In the lobby was this adorable tv area.
After nap time we headed into California Adventures and rode on this super fun swing.
Daddy didnt get to go tandem :(
End of the day and watching the Color of Wonders show....
The next morning we forced her to go to breakfast even though all she wanted to do was go to the pool.
Super big french toast!
Pool time!!!!
Waiting for the big slide to open.
There she goes up the stairs.
Ready to slide down.
There she is!!! The first of about 5000 times down.
This is what mommy did :)
Oh sooooo tired.
She actually asked to go home around 4, she was exhausted. A little more tv time in the lobby while we waited for our car.
Sound asleep before we even got out of the driveway.
A super fun time. Can't wait to do it in 2 more years with David!!!
