LEGOLAND!!!!

Great Grandma Peggy took all of us to Legoland and the Legoland Hotel for the weekend to celebrate the kids birthdays. They were so excited and had been talking about it for weeks. The weekend did not disappoint. :)

Right off the bat the kids got to play with legos in the lobby.
Kacey loved this display at the reception desk.

Soooooooooo excited about all the Star Wars displays!!!
This X-Wing Fighter is the biggest lego model ever built!!! It had just moved here from Times Square, we were so fortunate with our timing!

The kids got to drive these fun cars.

I think David was most excited about getting to sleep in the top of the bunk bed in the room! It was such an amazing room!!!!
Treasure search!
Watching a tv show before bed.
Wake up and play legos!

Pirate fun at breakfast!
Thank you GG for the wonderful memories!!!!

What's a Tookie?

For some reason David has started calling Tookie. I have no idea where he got it. "Hello Tookie!" "Thank you Tookie!" "Love you Tookie Mommy!"

Big, huge June photo dump

Gym class has ended for another season. Here is Kacey at the end of Show Week where she got to strut her stuff.

Our silly cat rolled around outside where the kids had drawn in chalk. Just call her Punk Rock Kitty.
David got to play at the playground at Kacey's school. He very quickly made friends.
hmmmmm... maybe a little more than friends?
I think this snake was around 3' long. It started in the driveway then moved to the planter under Kacey's bedroom window.Eeek! I watched it until it slithered away...
At Alex's house we shut the patio door on the kids to keep their wet, muddy feet outside. They were not too happy about it.
Until we gave them food :)

then they got a bath. This pic cracks me up.
We were at the Arts and Crafts festival in Montrose and Kacey was drawn to a booth that had all these beautiful horse photos. The photographer was quite smitten with Kacey and asked her which picture was her favorite. Kacey pointed to the large version of the one above her head so the woman searched around and found this smaller version and gave it to her. Kacey was so excited. I then took her to the frame store and let her pick her own frame. :)
At the Natural History Museum

Jamie's friend makes cookies and made this Darth Vader one for Kacey.
The kids made these for Father's Day
Kacey's picture is of her daddy in his yellow shirt.
