Jamie has started taking Kacey to the archery range in the camp and she seems to be quite the natural!!!

We got invited to a 6 year birthday party at Montrose Bowl. So much fun, the kids loved it!

We already had back to school night at Kacey's school. Jamie got to leave work early and go with me. It was very interesting, she is going to learn alot!!!!

She left a note that she wanted us to see her birthday cake in class so daddy tried to eat it.

David has been talking about going to school since last year. When I would pick Kacey up he would want to stay so badly. When Kacey started Kindergarten, this poor boy had to wait 2 more weeks to go! But now the wait is over and David got his chance. I tried to get him to take his pic in front of the front door but he was having none of that. Just wanted to be in the car.

Nana Rie was with us and she got this pic of me reading to him. Although he had walked into the class by himself he still wanted me to follow and read him just one story.
As soon as the story was done he was off!!!
WOW, 2 kids in school, this is one excited mommy!!!

Strangely both kids got sick int he week before they started school. Thankfully they started 2 weeks apart. Kacey's only lasted a day or so.
David's was worse. He was sick a few days, stopped talking, wouldn't walk and just slept or laid there staring. It was awful. But once he was better, within a couple hours he was completely normal.

Soccer has started!Last year Kacey got hit in the nose early in the season and that seemed to scare her off. She spent the rest of the season avoiding the ball. When this year came up I asked her if she even wanted to play and she enthusiastically said yes. So we signed her up. There have been 3 practices and so far she is doing great. She is trying much harder, chasing the ball and running. If you ask her favorite part she says blocking the ball. So she really wants to be a goalie, too bad they don't have goalie positions for a few more years. :)
Ollie spent the night and both he and David thought it was fantastic!!!
Alex had a summer BBQ and her father in law made cotton candy for the kids. David liked the idea of it but declared it too sticky and wouldn't eat it. :)
Poor guy got two bee/wasp stings on his cheek, this picture was taken the second day. I wish I had taken one the first day, he looked like he had fat makeup on for a movie!

I love this girl so much. She picks her own clothes now. After several days of pink, flowers and horses for school, she came out in this. The goth, Star Wars nerd in me was just so proud.
