Summer is Finally here!!

I am so glad it's hot here finally! It was almost like there was no Spring ! It went from 50 degrees almost straight up to the 80's here! We got a Backyardagains Hopscotch sprinkler for the kids and when they jump on the numbers the water sprays up! They love it and it is very amusing to watch!

OF course, like kids do, they found an alternative use! A water fountain to quench thirst in the hot weather! This day was 97 degrees outside! Thank heavens for air conditioning!!!

Finally a Smile Picture!!

I finally got a picture of Sawyer smiling.. thanks to Jarrin for making silly faces at him!!

Sunday

My nerves are shot!!

Just curious if any of you had a child that "HATED" the car seat? My other two loved being in the car and Sawyer...well lets just say my ears ring and so do my nerves 5 minutes into the ride!

So if any of you out there have any suggestions PLEASE save my sanity!! :) I am desperate and can't be a home-body! HELP!!

Thursday

Dirt Magnets

I love the summer and I remember when I was little dirt was fun! I now realize why my Mom insisted in hosing us off before going into the house after we'd been all day in the dirt! I thought I was pretty clean when she would tell us to line up to get hosed! I now understand it all when these 2 where outside in the top soil pile and they came inside and I said "go wash off" and I got "But Mommy we're not dirty!" Okay so I have decided that children must not see dirt! :) It's the only thing I can think of! I love that Jarrin and Keeley play so well together, whether it gets our house so full of dirt or not, it's nice to see the bond that grows especially in the dirt!! :) I am sure my kids aren't the only ones that end up looking like this after playing outside!! So this goes out to all you other mothers who have dirt magnets also!! :)

His picture doesn't give an accurate look at how dirty he really was! It was a lot worse off camera!

Tuesday

Father''s Day Photo Session!

These are some pictures I took to put in a frame for Brad at his Insurance office for Father's Day! They turned out better than I thought! I love photo sessions with the kids!!

Monday

Blessing Day

This Last Sunday, June 8th, Brad got to give Sawyer his Blessing in Church. He did such a great job, as usual, and the Spirit was truly with him! We had Papa and Great-Grandpa Brown, Nick, Gibb Brownsfield, Jake , and Aaron in the circle and Bishop Sharp held the Mic. Thanks guys!!

We almost got his smile thus time...but he's cooing here in this picture above! It was a sweet pic.
This is another pic that we almost got him smiling in, but we'll have to keep trying! It seems like if you really want a pic if it it takes longer to get!! He was talking and smiling like crazy to me.. the camera wasn't fast enough since his smiles are big ones, yet fast coming and going!!
It was a fun day. After Church we had Family over for a big BBQ! We just visited and goofed around all day!!

Wednesday

Sawyer is 7 weeks already?!?

So I can't believe he is 7 weeks!! You really don't realize how fast they grow!! He has been such a joy to have in our home! He's been smiling for weeks now and his baby talking is increasing! Jarrin and Keeley LOVE to hear and see all his expressions and noises! Of course as soon as we can get a picture at the right moment then you'll get to see his smile also!!
I love this picture because the way he is with his hands in this picture is exactly the way he was in the ultrasound pictures!! It's amazing how much they like the positions they were in inside me!!
This is the way we have to burp Sawyer!! He can be so difficult to burp! We have to bounce him up and down and then pat his back to get a good burp out of him or else we end up with a very fussy gassy baby, and we don't like that!! It's a great arm and shoulder workout! I better have super toned arm muscles after this kid!!
By the way #3 is a little harder to adjust to...I always heard it was but didn't believe it until I had mine! It doesn't mean it's bad, it's just harder to get a schedule down with 2 other kids and not to mention the fact that we are outnumbered now!! YIKES!! But none the less I love it and would have more!! ( not if Brad has anything to say about it though...which he does...which means we are probably done :)
