Wrong Blog!
Political posts went up on the wrong blog! Hope that doesn't happen again!! Family blog only!! Now back to our regularly scheduled chaotic and fun family life!

Where are my strings going?
So Jarrin loves to find strings and tie up his animals and either drag them around the house or tie them to chairs because they are in jail! I have to hide all my string now or else every animal will be tied to something in my house!! The strings he used weren't strings, they were the ties pulled out of a hoodie and the bottom of one of Keeley's capri legs!! Oh Boy!! The creativity is wonderful though!! I love trying to sit on a chair and having to untie his animals first to do so!! I must admit, the bottom of the stool is much easier to get around!! :)
Thursday
Our Trip to the Green Bluff Apple Festival
So this last weekend was great! It was the Apple Festival at Green Bluff. We thought the kids would like it! They has such a great time! So Brad and I decided to get some big pumpkins so that we could carve some out too, plus we LOVE the seeds. Brad hates pictures so he usually gives me a goofy pose or face, so this time I said it is what it is and it will get posted! So here it is!!

Keeley tried to pick this up and she tried to convince us that she could! It was cute watching her try!!

Jarrin did pick up his pumpkin! He brought his muscles! He usually says something along the lines of " I brought my muscles today, that how I can pick this up!" or if it looks too heavy he'll say " I didn't bring my muscles today" I love when he says that! :)

I love this baby face! He was packed around almost the whole time.
Until we tried to get a cute picture of him in with the pumpkins! It would have been really cute if he didn't start fussing! :) See we are all sick right now and I think he was just on the verge when you just don't feel right and that's why he was more attached than usual!

He was OK (of course) as soon as I touched him (Momma's Boy, big time)!
The kids even got to ride on some ponies. My overly cautious Jarrin I thought for sure he's say no way actually said yes!! We knew Keeley would have no problem! The had a great ride! Even when the ponies shook, they laughed.

This "sand" box was actually full of what?....dried peas! How funny!! I had never thought of putting peas in a box for my kids to play in! They loved it! The thought is was pretty funny to play in peas!
The goats! There is Keeley trying to pet on both of them at the same time! She even put an apple close enough so that they would both be on that end!

The Wiggle Train was fun for Jarrin! He loved it! It also started out fun until Keeley jammed her chin into the barrel she was sitting in! I still have yet to figure out what she was doing since as you can see her face is well above the barrel she's sitting in! She says she wasn't down in it or with her face looking over. So who knows! She came back with a whimper! Leave it to my clumsy girl. Sadly the poor girl gets that from me!

My baby weight! He was so content just being on Mommy and watching everything! I love my Moby! We also bundled him up like a blue poofy marshmallow! He was so toasty warm! It was sunny but still it was the cold air when you weren't in the sun that gave you the chills!
So these were all the pumpkins that we ( or should I say I) carved!
They love digging into the warm slimy pumpkins!! That's the best part! They told me what they wanted on their pumpkins and I was the designer and carver! Brad was going to do his own, but was fed up with it before we got to our own! Soooo I did his also! MY hands hurt!! Next year, we are going to downsize the pumpkin count :)
So these are the final products! Sawyer's was on of the last ones and since I was tired and my hands hurt, he got a pacifier for his baby pumpkin! The kids really liked that idea when I asked what we should do and thankfully it wasn't' too hard. It isn't great or anything, but a least it got done!
This is my Browning pumpkin, it is a company that sells great shotguns and I wanted to do a deer anyways and their logo was perfect and easier that a whole deer! I also did a shadow out the back of it (I carved a shoot gun) . It was definitely fun!

These are the other pumpkins lined up. Brad choose a Ducks Unlimited logo and he wanted to add fangs (more Halloweenish) :)
I loved the family time we got to have doing this! It was a messy fun couple of days!! Now I can't wait to set the kids all dressed up in there costumes!! Jarrin is a fireman, Keeley is Cinderella, and Sawyer is a sock monkey! It will be great!!

Little Sawyer can't get enough
So now that he has discovered his toes, it's out with the wash rag and in with the toes! I believe that once the toes are found there is a magnet (that only gets stronger) in the hands, mouth and toes!! I love when they hit 6 months, the things that they learn and do seem to skyrocket from here on out!! I love watching him grow and can't wait for the next fun thing to happen!
Love the fern? :) hehe This was to keep his little bits from view as to keep him modest for all eyes :) hehe!

I love how he has grabbed onto his heal to help get as much into his mouth as he can ! He's is such a smiley lovey baby boy!! We are so very much in love with him:)
This has nothing to do with toes sucking, Brad just caught this picture of him crashing in his swing! It's very rare for this to happen. He looks so uncomfortable! How do kids sleep in these weird positions? Keeley does this in the car too. Sometimes she is hung over just swaying back and forth as we turn corners and she doesn't wake up! It's hilarious!!

Jarrin's 1st Feild Trip
So last Monday I got to enjoy a fun morning out with Jarrin and the whole Kindergarten class(Am and PM) ,thanks to my wonderful Husband, whom I love very much, for staying home to watch the other 2! We hopped on a bus with all the kids and chaperones and road to Carver Farms to pick Pumpkins, Popping corn and eat fresh popped corn ! Mmmmmmm. We also got to go through a corn maze.
This was my group of kids. My own silly Jarrin and his very silly friend Issiac from church! They loved making faces for the camera on the bus :)
His hair totally blended in with the corn stalk color!! It was cute.
Picking popping corn. It was so precious when he pulled off the corn cob and opened it up to see what colors he got and he said" Oh beautiful, beautiful! I got a purple one, look Mom isn't it so beautiful, I have never gotten one like this before!" It was so cute!
Showing off his "beautiful" cob !
Me and my group on the Hay ride out to the field to pick the pumpkins and gourds.

They pumpkin props. They loved the "HUGE" pumpkins!
This was a weird looking gourd that Jarrin found. He thought it was funny.
They had this cute set up by where we ate our popcorn, so we decided a picture of the 2 of us would be fun. Issiac's Mom was there also. She came to hang out with us incase other chaperones didn't show up and since they were all there she got to hang out with us! So she got a cute Mother son shot also! It was great!
Silly face!!
Since they didn't want other kids to come to distract the chapereones from the Kindergarteners, Brad decided to take Keeley and have Father -Daughter time! She had a blast with Daddy picking out a pumpkin and some gourds! Brad took all of these pictures! What a Man!!
Cutie pie! :)
She found a cat here too. If there is an animal within 100 yards, I promise you that Keeley will either see it or hear it and go on a hunt! She will be a Veterinarian I am almost sure :) Well maybe not, Sariah was the same way and she's not :)
Pumpkin pose!
So now we have started the carving process of these pumpkins and we'll see what gets carved! I love all the seeds we get to roast up and eat! That's one of my favorite things about carving pumpkins!

Saywer's Bath Time Fun
I love bath time with Sawyer! He loves the water and he is so content just hanging out in the bath for what seems like hours! If the water didn't make him look like a raisin after 20 min. and the water didn't get cold, I would let him stay in the bath all day!! He loves his water!! He loves sucking on the wash cloth and he gets so excited when I get the other wash cloth wet and ring it out and let it drip on his belly! His eyes get wide and his hands shake so fast it looks like he's having seizures. Jarrin used to do the same thing when he was little!! He's getting so big! I can't believe he is going to be 6 months old next week!!
Monday
On to the next Life
Well, around noon today Brad's Grandpa, Jarrin ,Keeley and Sawyer's Great Grandpa, passed away.He lived a long, good life!! For that we are grateful.
He was having a hard time with his heart a few months ago and his kidneys weren't draining fluids so he was in the hospital. He made it through and got to come home and live his last few months. He was doing pretty well until a week ago. He went into a comma on Saturday and thankfully passed on peacefully. We are sad to not be able to hug and kiss and talk to him now, but very happy to know where he has gone!
I am so very thankful for our family being apart of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and for it's teachings about the Plan of Salvation. It is wonderful to be so happy and excited for him, but sad that Grandma will now be on her own. She is doing well as we all are because we had time to mentally prepare for this. We are glad to know he is now pain free and as the kids say "playing like a little boy", teaching and being a missionary to those who don't have the same knowledge, joy and happiness of the Gospel. We are thankful for all that he did while he was here and we will miss him :)

Hiking on Tubs Hill
Well, before Brad left, as a family we went hiking on Tubbs Hill. It's a hill right next to the CDA resort and is follows the Lake for most of the way. It's a 2 mile or so hike but we only went a little ways in since the kids get tired before even the 1/2 mile point :) It's beautiful. It was a hot and sunny day. I should have posted these a while ago but just didn't:) So here they are!

A rock map of the trails.

Hiking in. Jarrin even brought his camera to take pictures!

Keeley just hanging out on a rock "taking a rest" She has quite the pose for a "rest". It was too cute to pass up a picture:)

She decided to walk out to a rock and play in the water to cool off. If I had the right shoes, I would have joined her! I was ready for a swim . Sawyer was in the Moby Wrap on me! We were stinking hot!

I had to get a picture of this. The kids said it looked like a giant Plankton from Sponge Bob.

This was actually one of the best parts of the hike. We ran into a group of kids who found a rope swing and were debating whether or not to jump. They were scared to death. So we all got involved and egged them on.Since they had an audience, and a girl there watching, they were trying not to be "chickens" . Jarrin couldn't stand it. He was so scared for the kid that was going to jump, so he walked up the hill and kept his head turned. He was so cute and worried. He got over it pretty quick once he saw that no one would get hurt. Then he wanted to see it and watch:)

Keeley thought it was cool. She was the louder one egging them on :)

He finally jumped! They kids all cheered. It was fun! Then we had to hike back! We went and got sandwiches and went home and everyone(especially the kids) crashed for the night! It was great. Brad and I hadn't been up there for a while and it was fun to take the kids for the first time!
