So a few ladies and I went and had a girls night on Thursday and it was such a great break!! We went and had Mexican (my fav) and then we went to the theater and checked out Bride Wars. It was such a hilarious movie! All I can say is I am glad I went to see it and I sat next to my friend Shauna because we were with 3 other girls that were so quiet! I felt better laughing out loud next to her. We didn't hold back our laughter :) hehe!Yeah for girls
So next on our list is Paul Blart :Mall Cop, but that I am saving to see with Brad!! night!!
So any of you local girlies that want to join us next time let me know! We are going to try and keep it a regular thing once a month!!
Saturday
A View Uptop
So driving on the upper lake road the other day, I looked out over the edge to check out the lake to see how frozen over it was in our really low temps and it was such a cool site I had to take a picture! It was really neat to see the lines all over the lake where the ice was splitting and starting to melt a little. It's nothing miraculous or anything, just a neat view!

Thursday
Almost....but not quite!
So here is a tidbit of his new moves. We call it the wounded soldier crawl. He usually goes a lot further but I didn't feel like torturing him to do it long enough for a video.I already bribed him with some food that Keeley held so he would go, but she moved in closer than I had hoped :) So I knew he would go with food, why?...because that is how my kids work. They love their tummies! :) Thankfully not enough to be fat, rolly polly kids :) Keeley actually learned to crawl when Jarrin sat down beside her on the floor to eat a bowl of Cherries and she apparently wanted some...so....she decided to figure out the crawling thing ASAP! A few of my sisters were there to witness it. It was hilarious especially when Jarrin had to move farther and farther away and kept saying"No baby!....No baby! Keewi no!"
Also just curious , anyone else have Jammies or other kids clothes that ALWAYS unbutton or snap on your kids? This is a pair that does that as you will see in the video. Also since he loves to be held and I choose not to give in every minute of the day, you will lovingly get to hear his screeching because he has to work at moving on his own and I won't just give it to him or help him :) hehe! :) Enjoy!

Baby Wrestling
I just find my baby so yummy! I am enjoying every little thing about him! Especially since I don't know if there will be more. I love every little stage and new movement he tries to make. I could seriously kiss him all day long!
Jarrin, the super sweet boy that he is, loves to play with little kids and babies. I often get asked when he will be available for babysitting :) He will lay on the floor or in front of the babies and let them pull, grab, push, slobber and poke all they want just so they will be happy! Jarrin gets quite a bit of that from his brother.
So I set Sawyer on the floor to play and also to keep him moving around( so hopefully he'll crawl soon)and Jarrin came to play with him. Jarrin gets all of the above and he even gets his nose and ears sucked on(ewww), but he knows that it makes Sawyer happy and he laughs and smiles at Jarrin's reactions!
So this time Sawyer decide to do his wounded army crawl and attack Jarrin and tried to pull himself on top of him and since he's teething he wanted to chew on his PJ top. It was too cute and Jarrin was giggling so much I had to grab the camera!

He was pretty sad when Jarrin had to get up but I am sure it won't be the last time! Once my kids start to crawl all of them learned how to wrestle with Mom and Dad. In fact they learned early on to attack Daddy, crawl up and sit on Daddy's head to smash him, sometimes bouncing up and down! It is the funniest thing to watch and the kids think it's pretty darn funny too. :) Sawyer is getting to that stage and I love it!! So that is our new fun at home! I have a video of him and his wounded soldier crawl I will post up soon!

Friday
It's been a while...
So between the kids getting better and me getting an ear infection *blah*., baby food making , cleaning house to catch up from sickness, 2 top teeth coming in for Sawyer and everything else, it might be a while till some real pictures and posts get up! Plus I still need some me time, then I will pay more attention to this blog! :) So sorry to be a stink, but I will be better soon :) Hope everyone else is great and no one is sick anymore :) I don't know about everyone else but I am ready for Spring to be here! Hopefully a wet one since there isn't much snow on the mountains to keep us out of a drought this year. We have already started to see the Robins out in the trees which usually means Spring is soon but it's really early for it yet so we'll see what this crazy weather does in the next month or so. So..... I'm done...Enjoy!
Need Personal Time?
Just wondering if anyone else just feels the need to escape when your kids have been sick(one after the other overlapping), the house is forgotten so it's dirty and you've been home for almost 2 weeks straight and then you get sick because you're not sleeping and now that you feel better you just want to take a personal leave for just half a day at least to re-energize? Especially knowing how much catch up you have to do! It's funny because the times I have a chance to enjoy personal time ,it's usually for a couple of hours, I get so much energy back! It's like drinking 10 energy drinks. Brad always asks me what I did because I come home wired:) Seriously I get such a great burst of energy! I know I must not be the only one!
It's not like I do anything crazy, see, I like to go to Micheal's or Jo Ann's or even just grocery shopping! I can actually read things that when I am with the kids I just hope it's what I want and throw them in the cart. Thankfully my kids are not whiny, tantruming kids at the store like I've seen (scary) so I don't mind going anywhere with them. The are well behaved so it's not that I don't like to be with my kids, I LOVE IT, I think what energizes me is just being able to hear one voice in my head at a time :) Plus I can concentrate:) and if any of you really know me you know how hard that is with kids around! I love to see what my kids are doing and saying. I guess it's a reconnection being out by myself.
Just curious on what re-energizes you after a tough, stuck in the house week or two? Stress or not, sickness or not. For what ever reason. Maybe I can get some good ideas.

My Growing boy
So I know I added quite a few new posts up at once but since they're all pretty short and sweet I thought I would add one more! This one should have gone before the last since it was the pre-sick happier moments :) Sawyer is now into teething biscuits which is great because it helps him chill while I get his food ready because he thinks by chance he might starve to death in a few moments! Hehe! I love the mess! He was so thrilled though!

This was too cute of a site to not take a picture of! Talk about outgrowing his clothes! His piggie tried to escape!! So out I go into the garage to dig out the 12 month jammies!!

My sickos
My poor sick kids! Church is such a wonderful place to be at....but in the winter it's inevitable our kids will catch something at Church and by Tues or Wednesday this is the fun we get to deal with! Blah! Keeley is sooo sick and her nose and under her eyes are a lot more red than it shows in the picture. Her eyes watering, runny nose, fever and coughing... oh sad. I thought the rest of us would make it without catching it....but now my Baby is sick with the same thing :( We've been doing so well , but it's his turn. We spend most of the night taking turns with him and during the day I get nothing done because my baby doesn't understand why we can't fix him so he just wants cuddles and more cuddles and wants to sleep on Mom for naps. It makes me so sad for him. Oh well this to shall pass (Thankfully!).
My sleepy girl. I try to convince my kids that the more water they drink and the more sleep they get, the quicker they will get over it. It still is a battle when they want to be with everyone else!
Sawyer is such a wiggle buns that I have to try to immobilize him so he will rest more. I bundled him up and put on a Baby Einstein movie. He love those videos!
So I pray ( A LOT) that they will get well soon!

My Daddy Spa
Oh yes!! You see it right! I love this man!! He's the best! Keeley wanted Daddy time and she wanted her nails painted and nail decals put on. He did both and her toe nails too! He did a great job!! It's no wonder why Keeley is so completely in love with her Daddy!!
The finished nails! Sorry no toes shots! Forgot to get some.

Late Christmas
So Jarrin had a long Christmas break! The last 2 days before break he got off because school was cancelled due to our 2+ feet of snow and he had 2 1/2 weeks off and then he came back for his first day back and then the next few days were canceled due to the heavy snow load on the school roof. There were soooo many roofs that had collapsed that they were afraid for the children's safety. Thankfully we had 47+ degrees for 2 days that melted most of the snow off so when he finally went back they got to do their Christmas projects that they were going to do the day before break. I just love the Rudolph hat and red nose!
Saturday
My bundles of Joy
So as we were heading out the door this day, I couldn't help but stop and grab the camera for some quick shots of my kiddos! I just thought they looked so adorable and I love taking pictures ! So here are some updated pictures with some of their Christmas presents on!
Keeley is always quite the model for these shots!! She was sporting her new scarf and hat. She is such a great helper and at this moment in time is very good at listening and doing what I ask, which makes my life sooo much easier!! If only it was that way with all of them all at once!! Can't ask too much from kids who just want to enjoy life though! I am very happy with all the joy and excitement that we have around here all the time!!!

My Jarrin, who instead of bundling up for his quick shot, wanted to show off his new Christmas outfit his Nana bought him. I can't believe he is going to be 6 soon! They sure grow up fast!
I love his cheese ball smile!! Just wanna kiss him!
Then there's my Sawyer bug!! He is so lovely with all his sleeping and napping he's finally doing! I can actually get things done!! I still am in shock that he still has blue eyes! I hope they stay!!
He's bundled in his new scarf and hat and mittens. I made Jarrin's to match because he loves being the same as Sawyer! He gets excited that they have the same colors on and he continually tells me that he was hoping for a Sawyer boy !
Jarrin and Keeley have been such a wonderful big sister and brother for Sawyer! I am so excited that he's starting to scoot now! He'll be able to play more with the kids once he's more mobile! I am so very excited also because I won't have to carry him all around when I need to get things done! I am one of those crazy Mom's that can't wait for mobility in my children!! Yay for crawling!!
Here are my munchkins all together!! I love them !! I couldn't imagine life without them!!
