Yes..I did the unthinkable. When little Taylor was 6 weeks old, I changed her name. She was born Brooklynn Rae, but after a few weeks of her being called Brooke, I just decided I couldn't stand it. I LOVE the name Brooklynn, but just realized that it will always be shortened. It broke my heart to change it, but we are very happy with Taylor. I know..I'm a little crazy! Braden agrees..but I just had to do it!

Taylor, Thanksgiving, and Stuff
So, we are getting better with Taylor everyday, and I'm starting to get a little more sleep. She is started to smile at us when we talk to her, and beginning to show some interest in toys. It's so exciting! She is such a happy baby. She sits and babbles on a giggles during the waking hours. She is definitely a morning baby! Come 6 am, she's up and talking away while Brade and I try to get just a few more minutes of sleep.
For Thanksgiving, we drove down to Vegas to be with our families. Everyone just loved little Taylor. The little kids followed me around all day asking if they could hold her, or even just touch her. It was quite cute! She gets so spoiled when we go home, because she never gets put down. This week has been fun trying to get her past that! I really wish I could sit and hold and play with her all day, but alas, my house is beginning to look like a natural disaster!
We had a great Thanksgiving! Lots of turkey, but especially lots of my dad's pies (which are the BEST!) We got to relax and catch up on our sleep since Grandma loves to come get Taylor in the morning and play with her. On our drive home, she slept the entire way, which is the longest she's ever slept! It makes me excited to think that she might start sleeping for longer bouts..just hopefully they are at night!!
All in all, we love being parents and are enjoying watching her reach new milestones every day! This morning, she rolled all the way over. She went from being on her side, to her tummy, the other side, and then onto her back! We were impressed! But what was really neat, is she used her legs to push herself over, something she hasn't done before. Who knows?? Maybe she'll be crawling early!
Here are a few pics of her that Ashlee took for us...isn't she just precious??
