New things this week...

So Taylor started sitting up this week, which is really exciting for me, because now she has started playing by herself a little bit more, which means I get to put the dishes away! I can't wait til she's a little more mobile, that way when she throws her toys, she can go get them. We also took her on her first sledding trip this week. Do I think she's old enough to go down on a sled? NO WAY...but Braden had other ideas as you can see here..I can only win so many battles.

Naps are getting really regular, and she goes down most of the time with no tears, which has been fantastic for my sanity. However, nights..not so good..I sure hope its more teeth!

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day all!! This marks the 2nd anniversary of the day Braden asked me to be his wife, the day that has forever changed my life. I can't imagine a life without him and Taylor, and am so glad he picked me. Love that guy!

TAYLOR BROKE 2 TEETH!!!

Sunday night, we had the worst night with Taylor. Just as we thought she was starting to be more scheduled, we had an AWFUL night. We were up with her from atleast 1-3 am, and the poor girl was screaming most of it. We tried everything to comfort her, and were so glad when she was finally able to sleep at 3. We thought it might be teething, but she's younger than most get teeth at, but we checked the next morning (Monday) anyway..nothing was there. But lo and behold..today there were her 2 bottom teeth making their way through! I'll try to get some pics, but babies don't really like to show them off..so we'll just have to see!

Isn't she a doll??

I just had to add this pic..doesn't she just look like a little doll?? LOVE HER!!

Christmas and Blessing

Well, its been some time now..I'm afraid most of my posts will probably end up starting like this. But anyway, we had a lovely Christmas down in Vegas..where is it WARM!! It was quite a busy holiday trying to bounce between both our families, but we made it and had a great time. Taylor tore into her very first Christmas present, (which of course, I forgot the camera for, but here is a pic of what it was..)

Taylor was given lots of new fun toys, and cute clothes from the Grandma's. What a lucky girl!! However, her favorite present was one that wasn't even given to her. Her Aunt Paige wanted a dog for Christmas, so her parents got her a mechanical dog that responds to voice commands. I don't know if she thought this dog was looking at her or what, but everytime we set her in front of it, she got so excited. She would kick her legs, pump her arms, and let out the happiest squeals. I wish I had gotten video of it, but I do have this picture..

Also during Christmas break, we finally blessed little Taylor. I was glad to hear that Braden did not take the liberty of changing her name again..we kept Taylor, so its absolutely official now =) It was a lovely, cozy experience, and I felt so blessed to have her in our lives. We sure do love that girl!! Here is a pic of her from the blessing with her Great-Grandma Midene, and I'll post some more of her in her dress soon.
