This morning as we were putting the finishing touches on our talks, Taylor was left to entertaining herself. All the sudden, Braden and I realized that she was singing the "Sunbeam" song to herself..without any help! It was adorable, especially since she really only knows the tune and about 5 words of the whole song..but hey..singing recognizably at almost 2? Sounds good to me!!

Weekly Taylor Moment
Taylor is growing so fast, and I now realize we've missed documenting sooo much, so I thought I might start a weekly Taylor moment, where I write about one of the funnest/cutest/ things she says or does that week..
Sunday Laughs
As I mentioned, I now teach a bunch of 4-5 year old girls..I have a feeling I'll leave every week with something funny to tell you..
This week I had twin 4 year old boys in my class. One proceeded to tell me that they went to the grocery store this week. "My brother just keep screaming. He's making my mom old."
Haha...yep..they're listening to everything you say!

CTR 4
I've got a calling, I'm the CTR 4 teacher, which is the kids who turn 5 this year. I've only taught one Sunday so far, and I've already got some fun stories to share with you. The lesson last week was about following the laws of our country. So I asked them if they knew who the President of the country was.." President Monson" almost all of them chimed in (don't we wish!). So I told them they did a great job, because he was the President of the church. So I asked again if they knew who the President of the United States was..."President Uchtdorf" (so cute), so I then made it easy and asked "has anyone heard of President Obama?" A chorus of "oh"s followed, and then one little girl said.."oh yah, but nobody really likes him because he doesn't really do anything. My family atleast doesn't" to which another girl added "yah, neither does my family". Regardless of your political convictions, pretty funny words to come from a 4 year old. Watch what you say, they are always listening.
It's a sad day..
Our frog has passed away. This morning I noticed he was suspiciously still in the pond. Within a few hours, it was very clear he was no longer with us. A sad day for all of us, he's been our favorite green bud for almost 3 years now. Taylor will probably be the most sad, as she loves to tell me all day his status..such as "foggy wake now", or "foggy seepies(sleeping)" or "foggy ok now mommy". He will be missed.
