FARM DAY!
For 2 weeks, we have been looking forward to "farm day". A lady in the ward arranged for a big group of us to take a tour around a big farm, and then a little visit to their pumpkin patch. Afterwards, we were set free to check out the animals and play with the other kids. Taylor has been asking me EVERY DAY if it is farm day. Here are some pics to document the day.
It was raining a little when we got there, so this is Taylor is her nice big raincoat! You can see behind her there is a sheep that they brought out for the kids to pet..that was quite a hit!
Obviously, this is the pumpkin Taylor picked after LOTS of encouragement that this pumpkin was better than the teeny "baby" ones she wanted..also on another fun note, she would only pick the pumpkin up for the picture after I wiped all the dirt off on my shorts..it was dirty you know..heaven forbid! Taylor LOVES tunnels..she always points them out to me when we are driving on the freeway..she asks for me to find more. So of course, she had to go play in this one, even though she got ran over by the big kids, and slipped down the sides..yep..she got dirty..that was a problem.
Taylor and I on the fun wagon ride around the farm, we got to see all sorts of fun flowers, plants, and we almost got hit in the head by some huge, rogue zucchini plants! Somehow she managed to climb up this very tall hay pyramid, most of the stacks were over half her height.
Last but not least, this is the only animal picture she actually smiles in..she LOVED seeing all the animals!
Helper Puppy
Taylor has a little beanie puppy that she just adores. A few nights ago Braden was loading the dishwasher and "puppy" wanted to help. So Braden handed "puppy" a fork, and Taylor, holding Puppy's paw, helped him put it in the dishwasher. She then followed this with a "thank you, puppy", a kiss on his nose, and a nice squishy hug...perfect little mommy!

Somedays I think I don't want to be a mom...
This morning Taylor dumped my eyebrow wax all over the couch..and it won't come off..and for those of you who may not know, its not my couch, its my grandmother-in-laws..
and then just for kicks..she took her juice box (which she begged for like it was gold), put it on the floor and stepped on it..and yes, it had juice in it when she started..and again, its not my light beige carpet..
All before 9 am
