Bumps

So Taylor had on a zip up hoodie the other day (which has to be zipped, of course), and we got in the car to take Dad to work. Of course, she has to get herself in her carseat, and has to buckle her own arm straps (fine..yes I know you're two and you need to do it all by yourself..power to ya!),and then she totally lost her cool. Why? you ask..yah..I'll tell you. Her hoodie had "bumps" in it...like you know how it kinda always bumps along the zipper when you sit down. Yep, that was all folks..life had ended. Please please tell me this is a phase...but then of course Braden says.."Oh, yah, I was like this as a kid..she's definitely mine." Yeah...count me out in the sanity department, I'm not sure I"ll make it. I knew she was "particular" before, but this is a whole new level.

PS..after quite a bit of negotiation, we agreed that we could unzip the sweatshirt so that it wouldn't have any bumps, because they are much worse than being unzipped

PSS She has been telling me lately that she loves me, unasked for, and for no apparent reason, which definitely makes up for all this "particular-ness". How can you not love that?

Funny sayings..

Me: You're sneaky
Taylor: I know, I'm a Taylor!
Apparently Taylor=sneaky

Taylor: I have a baby in my belly too, its kicking me. Wanna feel it mom? Her name is Kate. I can't find her parents. Where are they??

I then tried to explain that when you have a baby in your belly, that you are usually the mommy/parents. That was very upsetting apparently and she was even more determined to find her baby's parents.

Me: I don't feel very good right now.
Taylor: When I'm a mommy and you're a Taylor, after I eat my vegetables and get big like a giant, I make you soup, and you feel better. I put ice in it so its not hot.

Taylor: When I'm a daddy, I run and catch a bus. Then I go to work, and I come home and bring your treats.

Can you tell what her daddy does?? Haha

We've been watching Shrek, because she is currently obsessed with "princess stories", and that is the only option we currently have. I told her the princess is named Fiona, and showed her how to say it. So the next day when we were watching it she said "Mom, look at my mouth, FI-O-NIA! Look at my mouth!"
