My best friends.

Lately I have been having so much fun with my kids. I think it is a combination of a new house with plenty of room to play, and spring coming. They are truly my best buds. Sunday afternoon has turned into a weekly photo shoot. Sean and Kate are so cute and love each other so much, I can't help but take a million pictures of them. Here are the last two weeks.

Sean's new favorite past time is jumping on the trampoline. I love our new backyard and love that I can see the whole yard from my kitchen and living room with all the windows. We had a few friends over this week and I think all the kids agree that it is perfect for little ones.

Kate finally decided to swallow some cereal this week. I have been trying to get her to eat solid foods for about a month, and she would always spit out every bite. She seemed proud to have figured out how to be a big girl.

Kate's first trip to the zoo. I don't think she saw any animals, but she sure enjoyed the stroller ride. Sean had so much fun we had to go back two days later with Grandma.

Sean helped Randy break in his new ski boots. They should come in handy now that the snow is melting.

A sweet blue room for my sweet little dude.

I put up Sean's airplane pictures in his room and called it done. I'm not sure what to do to go along with the Batman mural, so for now I'm moving on to the next room. I love how blue it is. I would probably never pick out a paint color that bold, so I'm glad it was already done when we moved in. Notice the ceiling height. I'm not sure how tall it is, but the doors are over 10 feet, so I'm guessing at least 20 feet. I hope the smoke alarm has a really good battery in it. If that starts beeping we're going to have to get a gun and shoot it. Sean loves being in his room by himself which is a first for him. Jay has adopted it for his room too. When ever I can't find one of them, Sean is usually putting a movie in his TV and Jay is almost always in Sean's closet. Who needs a dog when you have a cat as big as a dog living in your closet and sleeping at the end of your bed? I tried to find a picture of Sean that wasn't blurry, but he doesn't sit still long enough for a photo, so here he is in action.

Our first day in the new house. No furniture yet, but a TV and some Little Einsteins seems to be more than enough for these two.

A pretty pink room for my pretty little girl.

Well, we're in our new house. The only room that is totally finished is Kate's. I didn't want to waste one more minute not having a real nursery for my little girl (and for me). It is my favorite room in the house. Now if I can just get Kate to sleep in her own bed...
Stay tuned for Sean's super cool Batman room.
