Kate is 3+1!

Little Miss Sassy Pants refuses to tun 4, so she is now 3 + 1.  She is determined to stay little forever and never wants to grow up.  She also insists that if I buy real pixie dust, she can fly in the sky, and she really, really wants to fly.  She is going to be Izzy (from Jake and the Neverland Pirates) for Halloween and her costume has a fake pixie dust pouch.  She was so mad that it didn't work.

Well for her birthday she decided to have a ballerina party, so we rented out her dance studio and had her dance teacher teach all of her little girl friends how to be ballerinas.

We had a random princess cake  that was pretty much identical to the cake she had when she turned two only much bigger.  She loved the fountain on the cake and insisted her piece of cake be the entire fountain.

Here is the table with all the little tiaras in the middle for her friends.

They started by reading a ballerina book.  All of them dressed up in butterfly wings and tutus.

Then moved to dance class...

Sean was the bull in the china cabinet, but he loved putting his tiara on too and sitting with all the little girls.

She made quite the haul on gifts.  She got many of the Brave princess toys, dress up costumes, lots of books and barbies, and her most favorite thing of all...Doc McStuffins toys from Mom.

After gifts, there was just enough time to go back to the dance floor and get some of that sugar out.

They all thanked their teacher, Miss Jacquelyn, and curtsied together to say goodbye.  Seriously cute.  It was a really nice party.  All of the little girls loved it and are now begging their mom's to have a ballerina party.  Sorry moms, I didn't mean to start a fight with your kids!

When we got home we had to get everything opened and try it all out.  She loved this dress up set!

Here she is will all of her Doc McStuffins toys...Stuffy, Hallie, Doc, Lamie, and Chilli.  If you haven't seen this Disney show, you're missing out.  It's kind of a Toy Story for girls.  I actually like watching it too.  She has her own Doctor's bag just like Doc.

Grandma Chris gave her this cute outfit.

She had her birthday spotlight in preschool and got to pick a prize from the prize box.  Very exciting.  She said her favorite animal was a pink pony and she is very special because she is such a good swimmer.  Her favorite things were princesses, dance, swimming, and sugar.

Kate Elayne you are the funniest, cutest, smartest, naughtiest little girl I know.  I love you so much.  I love how you sing and dance to any song that comes on the tv no matter if you know the words or not. I love that you don't want to get bigger and always ask me when you will be a baby again.  I love that you can do math better than your brother.  I hate that you make me carry you everywhere (you are 40 lbs now), but I know I will miss not being able to carry you anymore, so I do it anyway.  I'm so glad you had a great birthday and I hope 3+1 is going to be just as fun as 3.
