My 100th post! Halloween 2012

It was off to Neverland this year for Halloween.  Sean was Peter Pan, and Kate was Izzy from Jake and the Neverland Pirates.  I was a girl Peter Pan (Sean insisted) and Randy was Clark Kent.

I love seeing Kate with brown hair.  She is the cutest pirate I've ever seen.   She loved her costume with her pouch of pixie dust on it.  I felt so bad when she realized that she couldn't fly.

Sean made sure to stay in character at all times.  His costume was seriously the cutest.  It came with a bow and arrows and a sword that made sounds.

I pretty much hated my costume, but whatever makes Sean happy.

We went to Dave and Shanna's for their annual Halloween party.  Here are all the brothers.

Sean was so excited to see Mario and Luigi there!

I didn't get a good picture of Shanna's kids, but they were all different Harry Potter characters.

Cindy's costume was by far my favorite.  If the purple backpack doesn't give it away, she's Dora.

Amy was beautiful as always.

The donut game.  My kids don't exactly follow the "no hands" rule.

Sean was my little jack-o-lantern with all of his missing teeth.

Kate's school parade.  I'm not sure why they had it outside this year and made all of the kids wear their coats.  Kind of defeats the purpose of getting all dressed up.

Sean had an awesome party at school, thanks to yours truly.  I am seriously the best party planner around.  All of the kids loved it.

Trick or treating!

See you later October.  I'm not going to miss you...at all.

Family Photos

I decided I didn't have a crazy enough month, so I planned family pictures.  I spent weeks getting outfits for the family, then taking them back, then buying new ones, then finding shoes, then taking them back, then buying new ones...  I hate trying to find clothes that will photograph well, make us look good, and coordinate without matching.  I do like how these turned out, but you'd never know how much effort went into making it look effortless.  Jamie delivered awesome photos as always.

I am trying to replace the canvas photos on the wall with new ones, and I really wanted Kate to have a picture with Randy, but she REFUSED to go anywhere near him.  Randy pulled a fast one and snuck in behind her on one of her shots.  She had no idea until we got the pictures back.  She was so mad.

As we were leaving I decided to try to sit Kate on Randy's lap real quick for a shot.  This is what we got.  Glad I put blue unders on her so they match her dress.  Little stinker.
