We spent Christmas Eve with some great friend-Mike and Katherine-at their home. My little brother BJ, daughter Lindsey and son-inlaw Lance came along. Katherine made her so so yummy chicken noodle soup and we had a blast playing games and laughing until late in the evening.
Christmas day was spent just hanging out with our beautiful twin daughters Kami and Lindsey, my son-inlaw Lance and my wonderful little brother BJ we had a big beautiful breakfast, and played more games and relaxes a while. Later we made our way out to find a bit of food for somewhat of a late lunch, we soon found not much was open and decided on a mexican restuarant called Betos, It was good but definately a gut bomb. Woah!
We then made a short visit to my Parents -and I of course forgot my the gift. (Duh...)-but I did get to hold my new little nephew Andrew for a moment (what a little cutie!) we had the opertunity to say Merry Christmas to other members of the family and then hurry off to make our flight up to Oregon to spend some quality time with my sweet daughter Ashley and son-inlaw Johnny and those two most adorible little grandsons of mine JJ and Jack.
It was really sooo wonderful I couldn't have asked for a better Christmas gift ever!

My Lindsey's beautiful wedding!!
It was a gorgeous day and everyone looked beautiful and or handsome. I was so relieved to have the wedding day come and run so smoothly, it was quite the blessing, seeing as the few days leading up to the wedding were not much fun at all. Just a bit of drama…
I was busy doing the mother of the bride duties and trying to get everything squared away with the cost, the food, the pictures and clothing and all the many other little details, down to making of the jewelry for the bride and… well…
OH MY! What work.
The drama was at its peak when I had been trying to get my own dress ready for the wedding, only minutes before going to the wedding rehearsal, I had decided to steam iron my dress, because it had been sent by mail and had some very prominent wrinkles I wanted to get out. BUT I have learned never to do that with a regular iron, even if the manufacturer says it’s possible… I BURNED A BIG HUGE HOLE or I should say a LINE of holes into my dress by barely touching the dress with the tip of the iron. (Taffeta and irons...they don’t mix) So to say the least, I have learned that I can be very resourceful when necessary, I made it a point to searched for a solution during the next very few hours that I had left - this was the day before the wedding I might add - and came up with making a big collage of flowers from lace that I felt matched well enough and covered my many holes. Everyone said they couldn't even tell and that they had thought the dress had come with the flowers… well even if they could tell, I am so very glad they were nice enough to say that they couldn't.
All in all, the wedding day was a fantastic day, I am so happy for the both of them, and I am so excited to have a new addition to our wonderful family by way of a new son in-law.
We love you dearly Lance welcome to our family!
The flowers I have to tell you were incredible!
My Thanks to Lances' Mother, who did the beautiful flowers. The reception center was beautiful, the day was sunny and at just the right temperature. We all had an incredible blast! (I am pretty sure I can speak for everyone on that.)

Wedding Wedding Wedding Busy Busy Busy!
Lindsey and Lance will become Mr and Mrs Lance Scott Tolbert on the 15th of May and I look forward to it yet... I am frankly very tired of the planning part of it all...(and I might add my husband is quite done with the spending part)
The wedding will be beautiful and Lindsey is a very fortunate girl I hope she knows how much she is loved and will be missed here at home, but... what an adventure she is off to in her new life with Lance. May the lord keep watch and care over them in there times of trial and may they have many year of endless bliss!
I love you Lindsey my sweet daughter and you as well my new son Lance!

Turtle fun!
I dicided to post this video clip I took on one of our dives in Bonaire. We followed this turtle a while and I had more clips but I'm just not up to editing it all(maybe later), but I am also posting just a few of the fish I got pictures of. Later when I get some of the other pictures together, of some of the other fun things we did on our cruise, I will post more.
This is a "stoplight Parrot Fish"
This is a "Caribbean Trumpit Fish"

See if you can find the "Scorpion Fish" in this picture, they are hard to see they blend in so well.
