The life and times of David James

As far as new deveopments in my life, well nothing too new. I am just at the brink of running. When that happens, mom won't have time to post my chronicals.

But, I have been balancing a lot lately. I like to climb on chairs...got up on the one (in the photo, me at 13 months) the back way. I climbed on the little chair that grandma bought me today. I don't care for sitting on the chairs, I like to stand. I've also taken to climb up anything I can, which includes mom's legs if possible. I also like to balance on the toys I have that have any type of surface I can climb up on (me at 11 months, and me at 9 months).

Mom's friend Doug gave me these blocks for my creative expression.

I think they are pretty fun to play with...as you can see. When I don't
build with them, I toss them about.

I thought I would give you an little update on my kitties, Karma and Hoot. Karma is the girl, and she has the white on her. Hoot is the boy. Can you see which is which in this photos? They look very similar. Since I am mobile, I chase them around...they run away. But, they occasionally let me pet them. I like to hug them too! They like it also, sort of.

Mom, Grandma Sally and I made a trip to show me off to mom's Oregon friends. I loved the woods up there. I even held a banana slug (see link) and played in all the many puddles.
