I am Becca. I live in Alabama with my husband Scott and our 4 kids Luke, Caleb, Parker and Madeleine Claire. I love being a mother and wife and staying home with the kids. I love sewing, watching old movies, watching college football, wine, Italian food and road trips. I love our church and our new friends. God has blessed me more than I can ever try to tell. I pray my life is an example of his love and mercy.

My three sons and a princess!
We have all the boys this week and I love it. Caleb has his brothers to play with and isn't bored all day. The boys begged to stay home today and we are going to the pool and have a picnic. I can't believe how much they are growing up and changing everyday. Parker is no longer a baby. He couldn't even talk when I met him, now he is too big. Luke is changning from a toddler into a nice young man. He will be 5 in September. He starts kindergarten this fall. Caleb is so outgoing and independent. He is such a big help and doesn't need his mommy much anymore. Last night there was a thunder storm and he came running into the room scared and asked to sleep with me for a while. I laid there awake for an hour holding him. It is the only time he lets me hold him. When did my little boy grow? Where was I? It just isn't right. I know people tell me all the time to cherish this time with them, and I try to , but it goes by too fast. Alright, I have 3 boys waiting for a trip to the pool. Bye for now.

Yours, Mine and Ours!
YOURS!
Now we get to the kids. Scott has two kids from before. Luke, who is now 4, and Parker, who is now 3, are two of the sweetest boys. Luke is very smart and very much an in charge kind of boy. He is high strung at times but always wants to please you. He loves trains and being the boss. Luke is just now finding his independence and isn't much for snuggling anymore. Scott isn't liking that too much. Parker is the baby boy of the family. He is the most laid back of the boys. He loves to talk and to watch tv with daddy. He is a lovey boy and tells you he loves you all the time. He is very sensitive and does not like getting into trouble.

MINE!
Caleb is mine from before. He is now 4 and very much the athlete and daredevil. He is the most active of the boys and loves anything to do with the outdoors. He skateboards and rides bikes. He plays baseball and soccer. He is the one who will help out with anything. He is also the one who will test your limits.

OURS!
We have 1 child together. We got pregnant on the honeymoon. We tell everyone, "What happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas!" We were hoping for a girl because we already had 3 boys. We found out we were having a girl on August 14th and we were so excited. We had already come up with a name. After a long and difficult pregnancy Madeleine Claire was born on January 5, 2007 at 12:43 pm.
How we started!
Scott and I met in July of 2005. We met at Briarwood Pres. Church. Neither of us was ready for anything more than friendship. We both had just gone through pretty bad divorces. We would say hi to one another in passing. In September I went to Sweden on a missions trip. That trip changed my life. While I felt I didn't know who I was after the divorce on that trip God showed me who I was again. I began to grow and become more confident in my new found identity. When I came back I finally felt I was ready for the dating world again.
I was involved in the Singles group at Briarwood and Scott had decided to start going as well. The singles had a Halloween party and we both ended up going. Scott didn't know anyone there and we talked for a little while. Even though I would go off and talk to my other friends I always came back to talk to Scott. There was this connection I couldn't explain. We went to Starbucks after the party and talked for hours. It was so nice. We saw each other 2 more times that week. We spent Thanksgiving together, where I met his parents, and knew pretty much from the start that we were meant to be together. We were unseparable.
We started planning our wedding in February. We didn't want a big wedding. We had both already had our big wedding. We wanted something just for us. We decided to go to Las Vegas. We didn't tell our parents until right before we left. We wanted no company with us. We got married on April 4 2006. It was exactly the way we wanted it. It lasted 7 minutes and was every bit personal and intimate. We spent the rest of the week in Vegas and had the time of our lives.
Here we go!
Here we go, I am now entering the world of BLOG! I have so many friends that do this I was feeling left out. I also have so much of my family out of town this is the easiest way to tell them about the our family without sending out 80 emails. Okay, so maybe not 80 I exaggerate a little.
