Christmas 2009 was amazing...

Drew's gingerbread house he made ALL BY HIMSELF in school!

The boys left milk, cookies, and carrots for Santa and Rudolph.

The boys were so EXCITED Santa left them the Wii.

The boys (and us) had a great Christmas! We enjoyed dinner on Christmas Eve - ham, potatoes and all the fixin's! We decided that is going to be our new tradition. It was so nice Christmas morning to get up, open gifts and then just play. We didn't have to worry about cooking. Okay, who am I kidding, I didn't have to worry about cooking and cleaning, not we. :o)
The boy's Christmas present to Chad, Grandma Marie, and I was letting us sleep till 7:00 am...it was so nice. They woke us up and we headed downstairs to see if Santa was there. Sure enough, the big man in the red suit had climbed down the chimney and left us presents!
We played with our gifts all day...then around 4pm we headed over to our neighbor's (and very close friends) house and enjoyed a fried turkey dinner! We hope all our friends and family had as great of a Christmas as we did. We love and miss you all!

Polar Express

It is our annual trip every Holiday Season - a ride on the Polar Express! This year Nana got to join us again on this special tradition. We departed the train station at 7:30 pm and headed up the mountain on the way to the North Pole. Once we arrived at Santa's Toy Shop he decided to hop on the train with us. He sat down with the boys and asked them each what they wanted for Christmas. Drew asked for a Wii; Bryan asked for anything with wheels; and Tyler asked for a choo choo. He then gave each of the boys their own sleigh bell.

Thanksgiving - Kindergarten Style

Drew's class put on the cutest "Thanksgiving Show" for the parents! They did a little skit and sang many songs about saving the Turkey's and eating at KFC. It was pretty funny! It must not have effected Drew too much because he not only helped me cook Thanksgiving Dinner he ate A LOT of turkey!
After the kids sang songs they had "brunch" ready for us to eat as a family - then we got to all go outside and play on the playground.

Pumpkins, Corn Mazes and Fall Fun

Tyler jumping on the "moon walk"!
The boys LOVE pumpkins!

"Lost in the corn maze"!
They are ready to work!

We sure had a fun time at Cagle's Dairy Farm! We got "lost" in two corn mazes, played on the moon walks, enjoyed hot apple cider, and looked at all the pumpkins! It was a COLD and WINDY day but we always seem to manage to have fun. Drew kept saying that if Montana is colder he doesn't ever want to live there. Our boys couldn't handle Montana winters - they are spoiled!

SPOOKY HOUSE

This is the first year that the boys have really been into Halloween. So we have had fun decorating!! It is really hard to tell what it looks like via camera....I needed to put my camera on the tripod without the flash, but was too lazy. The window above the garage is a scary, drooling wolf. Bryan picked him out!!! The window in the middle is a skeleton pirate - that one is Drew's. And there are spiders crawling on the windows below. Tyler and I picked those out. We also have many pumpkins around the front porch and skeletons hanging in the tree. It has been fun decorating. We are going to add some more the day of Halloween to make it even more fun! Happy soon-to-be Halloween y'all....

Drew is Doing EXCELLENT in School

Drew is accepting his "Student of the Month" award.
Proud to be a RHINO!

"Wear your Dad's Tie" to School day

Star Student of the week in his class.
Drew not only loves school - but he is also doing so well. Which doesn't surprise us! He loves all the fun things he gets to do and wear to school - crazy hair, pj's, dad's tie. He also LOVES to learn. He was "Star Student" of his class the week of Sept. 14. His class got to learn all about "Drew" that week.
Every first Friday of the Month the school puts on a "Breakfast of Champions". All the students who were nominated for Student of the Month get to have breakfast with the Principal. We were so excited that Drew was "STUDENT OF THE MONTH" for his class. The first one chosen! Here is the letter that Mrs. Valles wrote about Drew:
Drew, we are so proud of you! You are such an awesome student
and friend to all in the room. Your postivie attitude is gorgeous;
your diligence and responsibility is outstanding.
Keep up the amazing work. We love you!
