This is a representation of why a wife should say "no" when her husband wants to buy a motorcycle. Yes, I was one of the dumb ones that gave in and figured that he would be okay. Well, we bought the bike on Thursday and we were in the ER on Friday. Yes... A TRUCK HIT MY HUSBAND!!!! That is for sure the worst feeling that I have ever had in my entire life. Randy had just finished work and I was headed to the school. He carefully pulled his bike out of the driveway to park it beside his truck and marvel in it's beauty... Well an eighty-year-old man came toward him and drifted into his lane. Randy wasn't going fast enough yet to completely get out of his way, so he tried to get around him. He soon realized that he wouldn't be able to and so he laid the bike down and let it take a hit. The truck hit Randy's leg and the bike pretty badly. His other leg was pinned underneath his bike. Luckily, Cheronne was home and called 911 and took care of my hubby and baby. Randy called me when he got to the ER. I was sick! My kids told me that I could cry.... and I lost it. My fabulous school let me leave immediately to be with Randy. Thankfully, he walked away with under-the-knee injuries. Life hasn't been fun with a severely broken foot and horrible skin abrasions... but I am just grateful that he is still here with us. I know that he was protected and I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for that. Randy has a boot on now, but will soon be in a cast... I'll keep you posted.

The left foot is the broken one... can you tell?!?!

His toe was dislocated and popped back in... yuck... I know!

His beautiful leg of many colors... This actually looks pretty darn good... sad but true!

And finally... the foot. This was taken on Sunday. The Dr. said it is the worst part of the foot to brake because it is so hard to heal. But my boy is tough... he did get hit by a truck afterall!
