The I'm Alone

This is a gift for my father of the famous rum running ship the "I'm Alone". The captain of the ship...Captain Jack Randell...was a family member. The ship was sunk by gun fire in 1929 by the U.S. Coast guard cutter "Dexter" in international waters. The charges against the captain and crew were dropped due to being illegaly arrested in international waters.

Happy Retirement!!!

This is a retirement gift for a very good friend of mine...who is retiring this month...who also shares my passion for wild beautiful places. You know who you are....and you know better than anyone how I feel about painting landscapes. So ya better like it!! Maybe some day I will catch you hiking in these mountains! Now get painting!!!

My first portrait

This is the first portrait I ever drew and the only pencil drawing of mine that remains in existance. I was in grade 10 when it was drawn. I gave it to my grandparents and they had it framed. It came back to me about 3 years ago when they moved out of the province.

These are a few paintings that I kinda liked.

Lees' creek

I started playing around with watercolor paints a few months ago. I don't know if it something I want to stick with..... but for some reason keep painting them.
