Wow! When it rains it pours with both great and challenging events. Since we last posted, we've been to Arkansas for a family reunion, celebrated friends with quite a few get togethers and enjoyed leading singing at our new church's VBS. One of our greatest blessings was Nic's new job, which he loves. We were sad to leave to leave the old one, but we realize that God has new and exciting plans for us at the new job. As for challenges, we have had to replace the A/C in our house, and endure major plumbing and garage door repairs. Finally throw in some car work and a new back door to round out our ongoing list. :) Needless to say, we are looking forward to a quieter end of the summer. We had a fabulous Easter. Jules enjoyed exploring all the wonderful things she got from the Easter bunny. Later we all got dressed in our Easter best. Thanks to Miss Jody, Julianna's ensemble included a beautiful dress, purse and even gloves. She looked precious and sure thought she was hot stuff. Thank you so much Miss Jody!!! We went to church, ate a delicous lunch and hunted for eggs the Easter bunny had hidden. It was blessed time to be with family, have fun and most importantly remember the sacrifice our Father and his Son made for us. We hope your day was as blessed as ours. Much love, The Belchers

You will surprised to know that this post does not include Julianna at all. It is all about her Daddy and a life milestone he crossed a few weeks ago. Nic turned 30 the end of February and we celebrated in style. We enjoyed some Julianna- free time, had great food and honored this incredible man. We dined on french cuisine, a first for both of us. We even got adventurous and tried escargot. It was quite good! We ended the evening with a song, a little dancing and of course dessert. It was an awesome time spent together as a couple and a spectacular birthday for Nic. We are very thankful to Gami, Big Daddy, Aunt Venus and Uncle Dan for tending to the princess while Mommy and Daddy were away.

My Cousin Lance ran for state representative in his district and won!!!! He dethroned the current rep. who has been there for 6 terms. It was a major upset!!!! We are so excited for him!!! This has been a dream of his for I don't know how long. Way to go Lance for working your tail off to achieve your dreams! We can't wait to see what you do down in Austin. Love you!!!!

Three cousins primed for an exciting, stressful, nerve racking night.

Apparently Julianna didn't get the Valentine's is a happy day memo. Or, it could be that her mommy decided to have a full on photo shoot after church, cause she looked so cute in her dress. She was tired and hungry, so it was not as successful as I had hoped, but we did get some cute ones. Hope you enjoy !!!!
