Anw whilst clubbing at Double O yesterday night.. yes I was there agn.. met up with cline n her friends for awhile before finding maye and her friends.. As I was saying.. some hot but short angmo came up to me and was telling me something of which I really cldn't hear. Turns out he wanted to dance with me.. Crap.. so he did. And then he spun me around and said the MOST cliche pick up line of the century.

"I've been dreaming of you all night." *pregnant.pause then i told him to f-off n when to dance with maye n her friend. Gives me the creeps but I cldnt stop laughing after tt. I found it damn hilarious.


i had bloodshot eyes by 12am hehe.. but its natural.. I always get red skin and bloodshot eyes when I drink. One of the more well angled fotos.. Anw I love cline.. After exams we have our date ya... heeee

i have 1001 ppl to thank. I will name them one by one when i have the time.. i went through 4 or isit 5 bday celebrations in a space of 2 days.. im veri tired...

i had a blast and i had 3 birthday cakes this yr. I nv thought I would have so many.

plus maybe 500 fotos? and a whole lot of loving and ALOT of heartstopping surprises..

i want to especially thank my 9 yr bestest guy friend.. my dudieee Marcus for the white crate of roses in 4 colours complete with gold printed motifs on the petals with Happy Birthday on them and the moomoo cow soft toy n the chocolates and the card and for sending them to my house... i'm sorry to even think you didn't care... =(((

I love all of you and I really love all my presents.. cant put my finger to my most favourite one coz they are so precious to me and I will remember this week for a long time to come..

im an adult now.. at the starting point of a new stage of my life..ahhh vastness.. and I'm thankful to those who were there to welcome the transition of a new life with me.... *hearts..

whilst alot of ppl think its exciting to finally reach the big two one.. im nowhere near that excitment. I really have no idea why. I was standing at the bustop with Maye after class telling her my thoughts.. and it just struck me hard. I wish my mum was here to celebrate with me. Like you know.. tell me that I'm not a little girl anymore. I'm a big girl now and she's proud of me. Physically telling me and not just in heaven watching over me. And I think meeting up with old friends and treasured friends this week is special to me because I truly want to surround myself with genuine love from friends and those that have become like family to me. Especially because I really need it to numb and overcome the pain of never being able to feel that kind of love from mum.

On a good note.. met up with sweet Cat on Monday. Had that warm, familiar, fuzzy feeling just spending time with her and the absence of meeting up between us just melted away. She treated me to some Jap food in Amk Jubilee and I really appreciate that gesture. Not just because she treated me but for the subtle gestures that shows she cares. And our conversation... tell me what under the stars did we not cover.. from people to clothes to other stuff... =))) Walked me to the bustop and continued waving at me while I boarded the bus. The contentment at the end of the catching up session was indescribable. In retrospect, time more than flew because it is the 9th yr of friendship. And we are all grown up now. Ahhhhh.. nostalgic hahahahaha

Thought I had to spend midnight at home tmr. But am going Double O with Maye after night class.. Yes more booze and good music and 2nd hand smoke but at least I'm passing the first hrs of the 21st yr with a friend.. Sweeetttt..

Anw Sunday night dinner at Vienna was fantastic... I was buffeted.. Sunday dinners with my family are always filled with LOUD laughter. And we can laugh so loud that we really dun care if ppl look at our table. It's beta to laugh than to see a whole table of black faces anyhow. My bro and me will get ticklish abt some stuff and our infectious laughter causing my da sao and my dad to laugh too. And my clueless niece to laugh just coz the whole Tan family is laughing hysterically hahaha.. Also took many crazee pics with my family.. unfortunately the mad pics I took with my bro I can't post because a plaster I mean Pastor has to maintain a dignified persona hahaha..

Still am on a hiatus. But thought to blog some stuff down before it completely slips my mind.

My life since the exams ended has been pretty relaxed. I'm still involved with my jobs but I can breathe easy nw. My exam grades have been great. I've got Ds...
D for Distinctions.. Woo hoo Praise God. It's not me. It's really Him. Coz, I really do not like to stardee and I am not particularly keen and excited abt memorising much stuff either.

Anw the past one mth has been near perfect for me. Clubbing with my babes Maye and Ade was a really fun experience because the music was great and I was super high. It was pure girly fun with my babes. Laughed at a few pathetic ones who were doing the great singapore workout or michael jackson and bruce lee moves on the dance floor. It was a good post-exam reliever. Saw some people in Cosplay as well because there was an Onizuka Tiger launch just before the friday crowd came in.

Anw sometime this week I was blessed with a meats dinner buffet at Brazil Churrascaria by Ian. It's at Sixth Ave. I tell you it was heavenly. Meats grilled and skewered through a SWORD. yeah.. and sliced and pipping hot ready for serving.. loved the salad bar.. loved the chicken heart.. loved the grilled pineapple.. yes i tried a couple of meats I din think I ever would try but it left my palate so satisfied. You haven lived life till you tried this meats buffet manzzzz...

Bought a pinafore top today.. the kind you can wear anithing underneath and wear the top over... realli loved it. Got it at a steal from topshop because Ade has the members discount card and theres discount till sunday... I think pinafores are in... its the answer to girls who do not like to wear jumpers or farmer suits whatever its called... its like wearing my primary school uniform with a top inside hahaa.. just that this pinafore is so much more stylish.. i tink its gonna be a fashion trend soon.. this pinafore thingy...

And I am a sneakers convert. Bought my pair of Converse bright pink and yellow sneakers a couple of weeks ago at a discount as usual with Ratty's cash voucher. I tell ya its the bomb. I'm a pretty much heels and flats, espadrilles etc...SHOES person.. But my Converse baby is so versatile it can be worn with pin striped berms, denim skirts and skinnie jeans... I heart deep deep.

For friends who invited themselves to my non-existent bday party.. its not on ya.. hehe.. I'm having as of now 3 separate dinner celebrations.. with family and friends on different days.. I choose to celebrate my 21st this way because I want to spend quality time with my different groups of loved ones instead of having a party in which I cannot spend time with people I love at all. And also, a party is pretty expensive and I do not have the financial ability to sponsor the event. No spot lights, no funky music, no hoo hah.. just quiet, simple yet so loved time spent with ppl who care and who want to love me this special mth of my life.

I'm open to more simple and lovely dinner or supper dates... to me its no longer abt the present.. gone are the juvenility.. My life's importance is the fact that YOUR presence is the best present I can ever have on my 21st yr.. Just to know that I have friends who care... So ask me out instead of waiting to be invited.. =)))))

And advanced thanks to friends who are planning for me.. because I simply have no mood to do anything this mth. Suddenly... birthdays seem insignificant and just another day and I'm not particularly excited for anything.. I'm glad just simply because I know I am loved...

Caught up with my church clique over supper at Hongkong cafe.. and its just so refreshing to know that time doesn't limit the bonds we built over the years... we just pick up from where we left off.. albeit older and wiser..

anw.. been wanting to share SWOPS with my friends.. Knew it for abt a mth plus. For those who do not read the Urban section of ST.. it has been featured.. but I am particularly looking forward to the clothes Swop on 1st April. Theres gonna be vintage toys, accessories and other stuff being swopped there. Just a 5 bucks admission fee and you can take as many clothes as you want.. of coz nt forgetting to clear your wardrobe and bring your unwanted clothes for swopping as well. Clothes not taken will be donated to charities.. everything for a good cause with no losses either side.. I'm excited... Here's the webbie... Just click ya..
