Photo Whoring with Cherylbabe.. *shocked

*like so not happy

*after spotting a cute guy and in extreme ecstasy.. so when you see me with that face.. you dearies know lahhhhhh

*and finally a normal shot

Beginning of Sentosa Suntanning trip... on the bus with Maye

*this sign is for people who tend to be extremely stupid

*excited faces despite the RAIN on the bus beach tram

yes you can see grey skies.. it rained for 3 hrs before the sun came out.. =(((

while Maye went to the toilet I had nothing to do so I drew on the sand and we started taking photos...

yes Maye is attempting to hug her name..

Yes legal grafitti... whilst waiting for the rain to stop..

i love this shot while we were suntanning we photo whored some more...

E.T bit off one finger.. nah.. its just my fingers against the sun.. and after snapping this shot.. the sun completely blocked out my fingers.. not bad for some rainy weather in the morning...

yes.. some Princess visited Sentosa...

the sun shone into the sea and from our view.. the light rays looked so much like diamonds in the sea. so beautiful

after tanning.. nice glow from the sun

tourist shot hahahaha

i love looking at the skies in the day or night.. it reminds me that such beautiful creation is a work of wonder from a real God.. the clouds, the blue sky, the stars, the moon.. lovessss

at marche.. with our feast (kampong grilled chicken, rosti, mushroom soup, fried calamari, washed down with my favourite Bundaberg Rootbeer.. woohoooo)

*Maye sweets looking happy with her food..

I was trying to impersonate the Marche cow in the sign I am holding up. Can you see the resemblence?

yes... impersonating another sign.. hahaha

Reflection in the glass window

Maye's against the warm glow of light...

stopping here for now.. more photos and thoughtful entries when I feel motivated.

Warning EXTREMELY LONG entry...

*of randomness and pictures....

Notice of Bazaar

If you have nothing better to do on 25th and 26th of May from 6pm-12midnight...
you can head to Clark Quay: Central Fountain Square for some midnight shopping at the 2 day Bazaar. The bazaar will have stalls selling clothes for men and women, accessories, quirky furniture etc...

Bazaars and flea markets are my kind of thang.. this shld be good.

Being Andy Warhol's Lover

All hail Andy Warhol, the father of Pop(ular) Art

The Velvet Underground 1967's debut album cover.

Painting of our all familiar campbell soup.

Marilyn Monroe never looked this good hehe..

So you've probably seen these images before and never knew who painted and created them. These images are so popular, they are found on tees, bags, shoes, necklaces etc...

The Warhol's 6ties was revolutionary. Though discriminated and termed asexual because of his open homosexuality, his talent is simply undeniable.

I want to go to the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, Pennyslvania USA.. Woooooo

Spider Lilies 刺青

Staring Rainie Yang and Isabella Leong.

"A spider lily is a flower that is said to line along the pathway to Hell. It contains poison which will cause one to lose our memory. Memories are central to the story, as the characters involved are questioned as to whether their memories are faulty, and if one can choose to repress them in the attempt to forget, be they happier times, or times of woe."

Do watch the 5 min trailer. Love the music, love the way it is tastefully done. Rave reviews by the Berlin Film Festival.

Hawtness. I wish I had this trailer with English subtitles. Btw if you hate lesbians, pls dun watch the movie. If you cannot stand to face how real life in lesbian world is, don't watch this movie either. But if you love artsy, tasteful done films, tattoos, appreciate and don't discriminate against queer people and want to change your opinions about the negativity behind tattoos and explore themes of fear and societal concerns, watch Spider Lilies.

Other info: Opening on 14th June, R21 with NO cuts. MDA suddenly rawks my socks.

In da Pipeline. . .

-I am intending to volunteer for overseas expeditions to countries like Thailand and Cambodia. Helping to build schools and teach. Prolly in August.. leaving for a stretch of at least 2 mths.

The idea of losing myself to nature and casting off modern technologies and worries is just so tempting. Back to basics. I'm not princessy-fied at all. Can deal with no aircons, no tv, no computer, no hp and no heater.

More updates when my plans are more or less confirmed. And I intend to go alone unless someone suddenly shares my strong passion for this, I don't mind a companion. =)

-I plan to explore the Salvation Army Thrift Stores in Singapore. There are a total of 7 thrift stores in places like Changi, Serangoon and surprisingly even Institute of Mental Health.

And hopefully, I'll be able to get some vintage and rare finds back at rockbottom prices whilst still doing my part for charity. You can find more info of their thrift stores from the Salvation Army Singapore website. I'm lazy to cut and paste the links. Go google it yourself if you're interested.

Pictures. . .
speak louder than words
random pictures of my life...

Maye's sweet erherm 15 bday... =P hehe
The free ice cream with the candle stabbed obscenely into a banana hehe.

The sweetheart making her birthday wish.

Us in the toilet. Did I mention to you that the power of 3 are awesome???

Posing with her free balloon...

Some of my old new stuff from earlier this mth. Blue dress, butterfly necklace and my winter beanie and scarf.

Sometime back I spent a fulfilling day with the resident toa payoh rat also known as my short sweet escape. It was Peninsula Plaza-Seah St-Museum-Fish&Co day.

Actually. . . Ratty was fantasizing.

Actually. . . Muddercow is sulking that she can't quite get into the mood like Ratty.

National Museum we went. Free entrance that day due to some private function. These are traditional pounding cooking tools. I have them at home also btw...

Ice Kachang Maker. . .

Trying to look artistic posing by the window. Someone thought these pictures I took looked like I was posing in my HOME. I wish big time man.

LCD tv touch screens showing info clips abt different heritage in Singapore. The front LCD screen of a family photo is that of a Peranakan family. I have that picture at home too hahaha.. The Peranakan community of the past was tightly knitted you see. And I have a basketful of old peranakan wedding photos and the likes. I'm old school at heart lah. Btw picture was taken while I was sitting down on the floor. But in actual fact, LCD screens are face level with my height.

Old school Camera. BIG is in heheehe..

My Ratty posing by the spiral stairs that led to... the ceiling =X

The staircase to my bedroom hehehe.. I'm very much a poseur though not a narcissist, though since I'm in an art museum I must maintain a certain poise of artyness hence the poseur shots. *talking chicken

I love my Toa Payoh neighbour.

Retro shades and earrings in the museum glass casing. =( "WHAT?! Not for Sale???"

Indian Sari, old fashion sewing machine, wedding dress

Me listening to some commentary on the history of artifacts being displayed.

Old school movie projecter. HUGE is in....

Photos of old cinemas in Singapore and old ticket stubs.

Old bags of movie reel.

Lin Dai. Long before advertisements found their way to paper, they were printed on trays. =)

Old music records stored in a glass casing on the floor and my shoes...

At the Arab world artifacts section.. Ratty was kissing I dunno what.

Toa Payoh has opened a branch of BOTAK JONES. My love... So of coz Ratty and I made it down for brunch.

Fish and Chips of enormous portions for just 6 buckeroos.

Pitchblack at Haji Lane. G.S.T with Shu.

Reney and me...

I spent 2 and half hours blogging this. Its past 4am now. I'm going to bed. I hope this entry has been interesting. Do tag me just to leave traces of your presence behind and so I know there are still people reading my blog. =)))))

Oh btw I lurrrvvvveeeeee this song... The song was sang during this past week's American Idol shortly after I first listened to it. Awesome.
