So, we are leaving our ward and moving into my parents' home for a little while. Our kids have become substitute grandkids for some in the ward and sweet friends to others. They love to go visit the widows and older people of the ward and have brought so much joy to so many. So on Monday we made this cute picture and delivered to those special friends. It was so fun to see the joy in peoples' faces when they got it and the kids were so excited to give them

baby cereal
We tried feeding her cereal on Tuesday. She does not like it, but it helps her sleep a little bit longer I think so we'll keep trying.

Sara's science fair
Sara's science fair was last week. She decided to find out if any container would keep an apple slice looking less brown than and other container. The result: it doesn't matter. Apples look gross no matter what container you put it in.

Kamri is 5! Her birthday was on Saturday and in our house five-years-old means a birthday party with friends. When we were trying to figure out what kind of party she wanted I asked her what her favorite thing in the world was. It didn't take her long to say "PIZZA". So, we had a pizza party.
This was her cake.
We turned out home in "Kamri's Pizza Palace"
I made little mini pizzas the day before and froze them before they were cooked so I could just put them in the oven. I used a new pizza dough recipe. It was yummy and I love the new frozen pizzas thing. It made the party so much easier.
Then they just rocked out with our guitars for about a half hour. It's a good thing we had those.
Then played "Hot Pizza" - like hot potato. You pass the pizza pan around the circle singing:
Oh, I wish I were a PEPPERONI PIZZA.
That is what I'd really like to be.
'Cause if I were a PEPPERONI PIZZA,
Everyone would be in love with me.
Then the person hold in the pan when the song ends gets to choose the "pizza topping". We had an ice cream pizza, strawberry, donuts. dirty socks, and others.
The cake sure tasted good.
My mom and dad came over that night to say Happy Birthday
5-years-old in our house also means GUM. I don't let my kids have gum until they are five then I think they're old enough to have gum in their hair, on the table, on the floor, or anywhere else it's not supposed to be.
Playing with the Fuzzoodles from Grandma and Grandpa.
Happy Birthday Kamri. We love you! I love your giggle. You can't help but laugh along. Thanks for your beautiful smile.
