Little guy here
We call him Ezra. Brooke had the little guy on 1/21/2013 at 11:10 PM. He sleeps and eats. Including Brooke he has four moms that want to tend to him for good or bad (mostly Brooklyn falls in to the later of the two categories, but she is learning). He is the first of our children that didn't have to go home on those stinkin' lights. He is the perfect son. I'll let Brooke fill in the details if she ever gets around to it. She has been lagging behind on this blog. She also might not completely approve of the one below of our family and I'll hear it later. Oh well.

Almost a Year...
Well, I have left the Valentine pictures on here for so long that it is almost appropriate that they just stay.
We have had a very blessed year, and we love living the family life. We are welcoming our first son in 3 weeks unless he decideds to be merciful and come even a week early!
We will see.
We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year. No Christmas card from us this year. Valentine's maybe? I wouldn't count on it.
All our love.

St George Ironman 2012
That's right...two posts by us Kamalus in the span of one hour.
No I did not race this year but it was an amazing spectacle to behold. With an overall drop-out rate of 29% I am probably glad I didn't. To those who did and finished, AMAZING JOB for finishing one of the toughest Ironman races on the books once DNF, DNS (roughly 20%), and split times are taken in to account. Of the 29% that dropped out after starting the race, 6% dropped out in the swim (normally an Ironman race will see total dropout around 8-12% for the ENTIRE RACE I believe), another 19% dropped out in the bike thanks to wind gusts of up to 40 MPH, and the final 4% dropped out during the marathon. Athletes one after the other came out of T1 telling their loved ones and friends they thought numerous times they just might drown swimming in Sand Hollow Reservoir. They allowed those who didn't come across the timing mat of the swim in the alloted 2 HR 20 MIN to finish the race without their chips.
A few pics below for you...
Sand Hollow Reservoir...the lake was glass when they blew the cannon. Within twenty minutes there were two foot waves throughout the lake.
Bike Mount spot. It was awesome to see all the gear come through that line. Why doesn't someone sponsor me with that kind of stuff?!
"The Voice" of the Ironman Mike Reilly...YOU ARE AN IRONMAN
Finisher Chute
2012 St George Ironman Champion Ben Hoffman (It was the first time Mike Reilly could ever remember bringing the mens champion across the line after the nine hour mark.) Ben Hoffman admitted it was the hardest race he had ever raced in.
Easter 2012
Easter this year was extra fun for our girls. We bought them a real Easter Bunny. They named her Sugar. She has been a really sweet little pet.
Easter is one of my favorite holidays. I love thinking of everything being new and alive again. My girls are such a perfect reminder for me of all the great things life has to offer, and of how to look at everything with a new and exciting perspective.
Ben is mindful of all his girls, and he bought each one of us a flower to pin on for church. The girls' flowers lasted at least five minutes into church. We looked over and Scout was down to just the middle of the flower pinned on her shirt.
They love their Dad. They know that he loves them. He is good about the details. We had a great Easter Holiday.
P.S.
I included a few pictures of Brooklyn's broken arm. She broke her arm in February and got her cast off in April. That was our first broken arm. She was a pretty good little trooper about the whole thing.
No more climbing out of cribs. She is in the toddler bed. No more bones at risk.
