PEPSI

Mom: Eli what do you want to drink for dinner?
Eli:  Pepsi
Mom: You can't have Pepsi for dinner, water or milk?
Eli: Dad said that I can have Pepsi with dinner.
Mom:  Dad said you could have Pepsi with dinner when we are camping, but we are not camping now, water or milk?
Eli:  Mom,let me find Dad, he will tell you!
Dad, I can have Pepsi with dinner, huh!
Dad:  What did mom say?
Eli:  Mom said the wrong answer, so I can have Pepsi with dinner right DAD, that is what you told me?!

(Eli then grabs a Pepsi out of the fridge (That was already cold) and says) "Its a little warm, hmmmmm, I know what to do...(puts it in the freezer, waits 5 seconds, opens Freezer, pulls out Pepsi) "Ahhh now it is perfect!"

Yes, Eli got a Pepsi for dinner, "just for being a stud" as Ben put it.

Random Fall/ Winter Photos

Stuck in a bucket

Spencer fell asleep on the way to the grocery store.  Eli was in preschool and I had to get it done.  Surprisingly he slept like this for quite a while!

Eli Organizing his trains

Spencer not only loves toilet paper to play with but also loves to EAT it!  YUCK!

Eli's loves to help wash dishes.  His job is to wash Spencer High Chair tray and he does a great job!

Another time Spencer fell asleep on the way to the grocery store!
Play doh time!

Spencer zonked!

Our Ward has bow-tie day once a month thanks to an older man in the ward, Eli now has one too! :)

Making Messes!  What he does best!

Eli planted a bean in primary.  It was fun to watch it grow!  It was over a foot tall when it disappeared!

Had left over Cinnamon rolls on the counter.  Spencer pulled them down and had a meal while I was in the shower one day! Stinker!

Building fort on the crib.

We love Forts!

More Play doh!

Gingerbread Houses No. 1

Christmas 2011 I made LOTS of homemade gingerbread houses.  First I made them for my Activity Day Girls and again with my mom for my family!  The girls had a blast!  This is the 2nd time I have done with Activity Day girls and it is so fun to see all the creativity they have.  I think being activity day leader is the best calling!

I seriously have the best group of girls ever!  A few months ago the other leader had a baby so for the next activity we made her congrats cards.  The girls did just a great job and put such thoughtful messages like "we know that your daughter is a child of god" and "I can't wait to meet her, I will treat her as if she is my sister"  They were really deep meaningful cards (and yes they are only 8-10 years old).  I read them at least 3 times before giving them to Sister Olive and almost kept them for myself to read (almost) just because they were so sweet and heartfelt.  They really are such a great group of girls!  I look forward to doing more fun activities with them!

The entire Manwaring family made it home this year!  Including Aunt Betty from Washington, Grandma Joyce, and Grandpa George and Shirley.
We had it at our church this year which made for easy travel!   Some played flag football before dinner, lots of games, made a craft thanks to Katie, basketball, visiting, looking through ads for late night and early shopping.

I have picture of Grandpa George with Spencer, but it's not on the computers so I will need to scan it and put it in later.
Spencer sat on his lap for a long time even with him being teased with his binky.  And Spencer fell asleep while Grandpa was holding him.  It's a cute picture.

Halloween 2011

The whole month of October we were very excited about Halloween.  Eli could hardly wait for the Halloween party at his preschool!  He really wanted to be an Angry Bird for Halloween so I got online early September and ordered the Red Angry Bird for Eli and the Green Pig for Spencer.  At the store I ordered them from it was free shipping you spent X amount. so I ordered a Green Pig in Eli's size, knowing that I would get them early and just return it to the store and avoid shipping cost.  So September comes and goes and the red angry bird is on back order...just my luck.  By the third week in October I had received both pig costumes and no bird, so I just cancelled the order..Hence 2 Green pigs for Halloween.  They sure were cute little pigs!

The weekend before we went to the ward Halloween party.  Eli won a gold fish and named it Goldie! (Same name as our neighbors fish next door, lol) The fish unfortunately only lived for about 3 days and died, but Eli was okay with Goldie being flushed to fish heaven.

The Day of Halloween Eli had a school party, then we went home had dinner and headed to Grandma and Grandpa Manwaring's trunk or treat, visited Grandma and Grandpa Murdock, then came home.  Benjamin took Eli out to a few houses and I stayed home with Spencer giving out candy.  We had over 100 trick or treaters within an hour!

Spencer loved sitting at the door watching the trick or treaters!
