Bunk beds - November 2011
Soooo. . . .in a couple of months from now (when these pics were actually TAKEN - in the fall of 2011) we will no longer be a family of 3 - but of 4! And that new little person will need a place to sleep - so it's time for a BIG BOY bed, all his own, for Vaughn. We will be taking what is NOW his big boy bed and returning it to it's crib state for baby. Jason decided to undertake an extreme labor of love by building V some bunkbeds. Below are some of the highlights of J and his best and biggest helper in this process
These are just a few of the great shots taken during November as the construction was taking place. We will revisit this a bit later for the "staining" process, as well as the headache that was getting these bad boys up the stairs and into V's room!

October trip to Port A with the Lees

October visit to the Bluff
A fall visit to Grinny and Hitee's house involved Lincoln Logs with Hitee, a little indian visiting the fire truck at the Whitney fall festival, and of course. . .

Aggie Football 2011
Below are just a few images from the 2011 Aggie football season. . .
we didn't know it at the time - but this was the beginning of the horrific wildfire in Bastrop. I took these pics with my phone as we were headed to the game, and the fires continued to burn throughout the next week! We were rerouted on our return trip - all the way thru Austin. . . what a LONG drive that was!
