Table time
I recently took on the project of refinishing a kitchen table for our dining room. It turned out pretty good! The pictures go in reverse order so you can see the finish product first. I got knobs for the drawers on the side but hadn't put them in before taking the picture.
Pictures
I have been really bad at keeping this updated, so here are some pictures from the last little while. We went to the zoo for the first time and Phoebe loved feeding the goats and going down the big slide. Phoebe has started smiling for the camera as captured by the picture below, it's pretty cute. She talks up a storm all day long! She has said a couple 2 - 3 word phrases and her vocabulary seems to keep growing.
She gets sillier and sillier every day and is currently quite dramatic. Enjoy the pictures!

1 1/2!
Well Phoebe is now 18 months. She is talking up a storm and loves to play. Often she will be playing in her play kitchen, with her baby doll or stuffed animals. She loves to sing and dance and has even started singing Ring-around-the-rosey, spinning and falling down. Her words (which she mostly just says the beginning sounds for): ball, bear, blanket "ba-et", eat, please, strawberry "saw-ay", cheese, more, milk, moo, quack, duck, meow, chair, hair, head, eye, ear comes out as eye a lot but she's getting better at the actual word, rice, outside, truck, plane, car, momma, dadda, banana "nana", and I'm sure there are more that I can't think of right now. Needless to say her vocabulary has grown a lot and often I can actually figure out what she wants from what she says, which is pretty cool. Her stats from her 18-month checkup:
Weight: 28 lbs 3 oz, 96th percentile
Height: 32 5/8" in, 75th percentile
Head: 46 cm, 40th percentile
The nurse and doctor both mentioned that she has kind of a funny growth curve because she seems to be on the same curve for two checkups and then bumps up and has had that pattern since she was born, kind of interesting.
Here are some pictures from the last several months.
