A Baby in HIS Tummy!

He's not looking too sure about this!

A Visit To Great Grandma Price's House

One Saturday in November we stopped at Great Grandma Price's house with Grandma Leavitt, Aunt Torey, and Uncle Logan to see her and her baby turtles!  We weren't expecting to stay long but ended up helping her rake her leaves!  Brayden LOVED it!  He hadn't experienced that yet since we don't have big trees with lots of leaves in our yard!  Here's just a few pictures of our fun afternoon with Grandma!

Our Trip To Oroville

In finishing up documenting our trip to California, here's our pictures from our stay in Oroville with Brayden's Great Grandpa and Grandma Leavitt.  This was just his second time to Oroville and he LOVED it!  He's still saying, "I go home Great Grandma's house!"  Sounds like he loved their house as much as I did growing up!  I have so many fond memories of spending time there with them!  We had to do a few things while we were there...have ice cream cones, visit the fish hatchery, slurpees at 7-11, dinner at the local Mexican place, visits to the orchard and garden to get fresh produce (this time pomegrantes, oranges, and mandarins), and of course we couldn't leave without a visit to the frozen yogurt shop!  (We also hit In-N-Out Burger twice during our stay in California!)  We went to church with them on Sunday and saw lots of people that knew me from when we lived there when I was Brayden's age!  Of course they were surprised to see me old enough to be having baby #2!!  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for such a great visit!  We were so spoiled with fresh squeezed OJ in the mornings and everything else you did for us!!  And of course the boxes of mandarins and pomegrantes that we brought home only made us wish we were still there!!
Following along to Sleeping Beauty (on TAPE!) in the crib I had as a child!
No kid's visit (as long as they can still fit!) is complete without a bath in the laundry room tub!
Notice the red nose?!?  Brayden fell out of bed and hit the side table next to the bed the first night we were there!  It only got worse before it got better!
Brayden enjoyed brushing their cat, Kitts, with Great Grandma.
Riding around during a break in all the rain!!
The WONDERFUL pomegrante tree in the garden!!
I think I ate at least 8 while I was there!!
Our little Buzz Lightyear being shy!

Cuddling up to read a story with Great Grandma!
The closest he got to the pool while we were there!  Fishing with a palm frawn!
Taking a break on Great Grandpa's cart.
Brayden loved cruising around the property with Great Grandpa!

Halloween 2008

So I know this post is REALLY late but I just haven't been able to get around to blogging lately!  We had a REALLY FUN Halloween in Sacramento, California!  (Brian had to be there for work so Brayden and I tagged along and made a little vacation out of it! We enjoyed seeing family on both sides!)  Halloween started out fun with Brayden wearing his Halloween pjs and getting a treat from Mom and Dad...a witch Pez dispenser.  We met up with Courtney, Andalyn, Ryan, Stacy, Marc, Montana, and Heather at Chuck E Cheese for lunch and Brayden LOVED it!  He had never been to Chuck E Cheese or a place like it so he was VERY excited to say the least!  (And thanks to Stacy and Courtney who brought their cameras to lunch!)  After all that fun, we went back to the hotel for naps and to dress up and go see Daddy who was working all day!  Once he got done working we headed to Marc and Stacy's house for dinner and trick or treating!  Brayden was so excited to trick or treat with his "cousins!"  (Actually Dad's cousin's kids...is that second cousins?!?)  It was nice that after I had spent time with Courtney and Stacy and their kids that Brian could actually see them too!  (Not to mention Uncle Dave and Aunt Eileen too!)  We did the PERFECT amount of trick or treating thanks to the rainy weather!  Just both sides of only one street!  (And Brayden STILL has candy left!)

Brayden in his cute bat pjs on his makeshift bed on the floor of our hotel room!
Enjoying our Halloween lunch!
Brayden enjoying his sprite...his #1 obsession on our trip!
Enjoying pizza and good conversation!  We never got a picture of all of us girls!! :(
Brayden has NO idea who Barney is but LOVED all the rides and games!
Riding the teacup with the girls...having his arms stretched out was his idea of holding on!
Following Andalyn up the slide the WRONG way!
Our Little Buzz Lightyear!  (One of Stacy and Courtney's cousins on their other side had her boy dressed as Buzz too!)
"To Infinity and Beyond!"
Can I get this hat off?

On to the next house!

Stacy, Montana, and Marc out trick or treating!
Courtney got caught eating some of Andalyn's candy?!?  (And Brayden in the background showing Daddy what he got!)

Thanks for such a fun time girls!  It was SO great getting to know and your cute kids better!  Brayden keeps asking for his cousins so now it's your turn to come play in Utah!!

This Year's Visit to Cornbelly's

The Tuesday before Halloween we made our annual trip to Cornbelly's at Thanksgiving Point.  This was our third year going and this time we went with the Blackwell Family.  Cornbelly's adds a few new things every year so it's only getting bigger and as Brayden gets older, he's enjoying it more and more!  One thing he didn't enjoy was the Monster.  It's a big, inflatable Monster that has a maze inside in the dark.  Brayden wanted to go in but didn't last long as he started crying and we made our way out one of the side emergency exits about halfway through!  We had a fun time though and Brayden loved being with the Blackwell boys!   Between our two families, we'll have our own 5 boy basketball team soon!
This HUGE rocking chair was new this year!  I love how small it makes him look!
Daddy "Horse" and Brayden "Cow."
The jumping pillow is always a hit!
Gotta love jumping HIGH with Dad!
We haven't attempted the carts in years past but Brayden loved riding with Dad!
Then he decided he wanted to go solo...didn't last too long without Dad's help!

The cow train...really bumpy!  If only I was REALLY close to my due date and it could have put me into labor!!
And what's a pumpkin patch without pumpkins?!?

Our little family...Brayden was DONE with pictures by this point!
