Hallowe Party with Grandma Leavitt

My Mom is the Young Women's President in her ward and every year their ym/yw throw a Halloween carnival for the Primary kids. We've got once before and Brayden was excited to go this year!

Farewell George

Our neighbors and good friends, Betsey, Caleb, and Josi, have two dogs that had a cute little puppy. Brayden has been fasinated with him since the day he was born and he named him George. Well George went to a new home today (and became Dakota) and so we went to see him before he left.

He's SUCH a cute little guy! Brayden REALLY wanted him but since our fence isn't finished yet, we couldn't take him...maybe one day we'll have a dog of our own.

Barnyard Boo

After a stop to see Granny and Gramps, we headed over to Thanksgiving Point for the Barnyard Boo and to meet Betsey and Josi. Of course we still had to see the animals while we were at the farm.

Brayden was so excited with his vampire teeth his won from one of the games!
Witch ring toss
Walking through the maze with Josi.
Easton wasn't too sure about his second pony ride!
Betsey and I with our kids...Brian was nice enough to take the picture.
Brayden got his face painted for the first time! This was big because he's been scared of it for awhile but finally did it!
Checking out the snake.
He thought his snake was SO cool!

Visiting with Great Granny

We're fortunate to get to see my Grandma and Grandpa fairly often because they have a second home in Alpine. We love seeing them every chance we get and I love that my boys have gotten to know my Grandparents who are SO special to me!

Brayden in the Leaves

Between the pumpkin patch and stopping to visit Great Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt, Easton was asleep in the car and I saw all these leaves at a local church so we stopped to play for a few minutes. Living in a fairly new house has it's setbacks, like not having big trees with lots of leaves so Brayden was excited and had a blast playing in the leaves!

Pumpkin Patch

Today we tried to celebrate Fall/Halloween since Easton's fever from the roseolla is gone and the weather is nice. We first headed out to a pumpkin patch.

Easton enjoyed all the pumpkins.

Roseolla

Easton's fever on the way home from Seattle was the beginning of Roseolla. Poor guy had a high fever for a few days, barely ate/drank anything, and then got the rash. He's over the worst of it but you can see some of the rash on his face.

Seattle Vacation Fall 2009: Driving Home

We had an adventure driving home today! The boys were both really well behaved but Easton had a fever the whole time and barely ate so I'm worried he's getting sick! We made it home in one day and only stopped once for a little nap break for Brian!

What did our parents do without movies in the car? Especially the wireless headphones that make it so we don't have to listen too!

Seattle Vacation Fall 2009: Pike Place Market

We can't go downtown without stopping at Pike Place!
Brayden and Grandma checking out the fish. He used his money from his Great Great Aunt Betty to buy a snake and had it around his neck while we were there.
The Pig
Brayden LOVES seafood and LOVES seeing all the seafood at the market.
Standing next to this crazy warty gourd.
Ghost chiles...keep hearing about how hot they are from Man Vs Food.
We had a solid red ristra from a visit awhile ago and instead of getting a multi colored one today, we got a solid red ristra wreath.

Seattle Vacation Fall 2009: Lunch at Ivars

We went into downtown to have lunch at Ivars. Brayden is always SO entertained when we eat there because we always ask to be sat by the windows and Brayden LOVES watching the ferry boats and the seagulls. Today our entertainment included watching a cute old man feed the seagulls so our nice waiter boxed up our left over french fries and after a delicious seafood lunch, we headed outside to try feeding them ourselves.
Brayden was a little nervous at first but eventually wished we had more french frieds!

His excited face says it all. These crazy birds would catch it mid air when we threw it up or take it right out of our hands!

Of course Brian had to wear Brayden's Ivar's mask.
Easton was happy to be outside! He enjoyed watching all the seagulls and having Grandma carry him around!
