Happy 4th Birthday, Charlie!

For Charlie's fourth birthday, friends and family raced down to the dog park with their riding toys. The kiddos had a great time despite the heat. Charlie had so much fun riding and riding and riding! Thanks to all who came to celebrate our little man turning 4!

Walking Down the Aisle...Charlie-style

In June, Charlie made his first wedding appearance. He was the ringbearer in my dear friend and former student, Casey Sanders', wedding. The wedding took place at Lake Martin, and it was truly one of the prettiest weddings that I have been to in my life...and that is a lot of weddings. Charlie had a great time and partied hard each night with all of us.

Charlie's job was to carry the family bible down the aisle. During the rehearsal, he did perfect. During the wedding, however, he did not want to step on the rose petals that were already on the ground; therefore, he strategically "tiptoed" down the aisle. It took him forever, but he made it. It was great comic relief for the crowd.

Happy 4th Birthday, Charlie! (Smith Lake Celebration)

Charlie turned four on May 26, 2012. On his actual birthday, we were all at Smith Lake for the Memorial Day weekend. That morning, he opened his presents with a smile and with his cousins all around! We all had homemade cookie cake and celebrated with some fun on the lake.

Thank you to Aunt Priss, Uncle Dean, Lily Kate, Price, KK, and Bubba for making this weekend so special for our birthday boy.

Mother's Day 2012

God has given this mama such fun boys! I love them with every fiber of who I am! Charlie wanted to make me a chocolate cake for Mother's Day this year, and I was so thankful. Chocolate is definitely a craving these days. As you can tell, the whole family enjoyed the chocolate.

This child is a nut! He makes us laugh every day...even when he is doing something bad like dumping toys or standing up in his high chair, he is a funny little bird. We love you, Jackson!

Charlie's Art Show

At the end of the school year, Charlie's school had an art show to display all of their spring artwork. Adam and I are so thankful to have our children at a school where the teachers care and know each individual student and family. What a special place!

Charlie loved his teacher, Mrs. Laura Maddox!
She was a great fit for Charlie and his vivid imagination,
