Sasha Entering Anna's Spectacular Tongue Contest

Sasha had a talk with Mom. She was feeling left out and thought she had a tongue as good as any pup and wanted to enter the contest too.
I think Sasha's tongue is pretty impressive if I do say so. Being my bestest friend I thought it only fair, we include her in the contest. She even has a little wink going. Thanks for having the contest for alllll of us pups.

Anna's Tongue Contest

We just read about Anna's great tongue contest. People sometimes remark about my (Ernie's ) tongue. Sorry we were gone and almost missed it. Didn't find a good pic of Sasha's tongue. She is more ladylike but we did get a "buttshot". Isn't it cute???

Fun Visitors & a Good Weekend

It was a fun weekend. Sasha & I had to stay home but Mom told us all about it. She went to the Cyclocross races with her sons and the grand bipeds. This is our cute 5 year old with her Aunt D. They had a lot of fun. We were all waiting for the little kids to race. Our 7 year old little man was racing. His sister decided to just cheer him on.
Here she is dancing & rocking to the music with her aunt D.
After the little man's race (he is 7 years old)... He & Aunt D went to get his prize. It was chilly that day and he had to wait in line for 45 minutes. They (the little kids) were all very patient. Don't know if the adults could be so patient... What's with that???? Such a longggg wait for little ones.
Mom got these pictures out of sequence but this shows the little man racing. There were a lot of kids in his race.
It was a very fun day visiting and watching everyone in the cyclocross race. Mom even got to see her son and his wife race. It was way cool. She likes to go and watch them. Sasha was resting up after playing with the kids and Murphy. You know Murphy really likes her. He has been around her since he was about 6 weeks old. He is now about 3. This is one of her favorite toys. Looks like she is hiding or shutting the light out of her eyes>>>>>
Maybe she is just playing "possum" cuz we can see her peeking. Maybe becuz she snuck up on the couch before anyone could cover it up..... Anyhow she was very comfortable.
Hope everyone has a good week...

Murphy & Sasha-- Luke

Hi, it's me Sasha. Thought I'd write a bit. Ernie watching me and Murphy play.
This is our "cuzin" Murphy. He loves me. I think it's a Lab thing. Poor Ernie, he is almost the odd guy out when Murphy is here. Murphy only has eyes for me. Just a quick clip of me and Murphy playing.
Mom is a bit bummed. We didn't get ot bring Luke home. Somebody else adopted him before we got there. We just hope somebody really nice adopted him. He was a cute little guy. Maybe it wasn't meant to be. Maybe next time. Thank you all for the good wishes.
Have a great weekend.

One of our Favorite Places

This is a view from the hill above one of our favorite beach places. We don't notice it as much as Mom - she likes to take pictures all the time. Sometimes it interferes with our sniffing since we are still on those leash things at this point in our walk. On the trail to the beach. There are 4 of us in the pack today. Couldn't get a picture of allof us in the same place. We were just too busy. She might be hard to see but Hana is wearing her little pink jacket and she doesn't get to come with us very often. She is very small and Mom only got a butt shot and a bit of her pink coat.
Sasha & I are the first to the water. We found some good sticks to play with. Sammy was very close behind.
Sun was very bright and it was a great day to be in the water. We are happy dogs!!!!
I found a great stick to play with. Now I just need to get Mom to throw it again. As soon as she gets done clicking another picture. She's going to wear that camera out.
Sammy bringing his stick back. He is still a great swimmer for such a little guy. We heard Jack Russell's don't usually like to swim. Guess nobody told him . . . hee hee.....
Miss Hana being her sweet self. She loves Sasha. She gets so excited when she gets to see Sasha --- gives Sasha slobbery kisses.
Sammy, Sasha, & me in the water. Our favorite thing----except maybe getting to run on certain trails and sniff and play. Sammy still playing and starting to get cold. The water IS cold.
Hana doesn't swim. She just plays and looks cute. That's OK
Getting ready to go back up the trail and head home. Fun playtime. Hope to do it again before the weather gets tooooooo cold.
Those M & D people -- well - especially Mom. Crazy Mom.... She found a little guy on Petfinder. Named Luke. If he is still there tomorrow we are all going to take a look at him and see if he will be a good fit in our pack/family. He is a Poodle or maybe a Poodle mix. That's good since I am a Schnoodle. Maybe we can have fun together. Mom says he looks like me. He might be smaller in size. That's OK too. We will know more tomorrow.

More Exploring!

Sasha & I love to explore. It is so much better without having a leash. We don't get to this area very often. It is a different section and closer to the road. It has new and fresher sniffs. Good Stuff! Sasha resting. Won't be long before she is ready to go again. Her nose takes her many places. That is why Mom sometimes uses a whistle. She must have "selective hearing".
Since we had to go inside I decided I should keep an eye out for critters and guard the place. Sure glad they leave the futon by the window.
We really love coming up here. This time we spent a lot of time just watching and guarding the place. Sasha watched one direction & I watched the other. Mom took some video clips. Not as good as some she has taken. She tried to get fancy and walked backwards while it was filming. Sorry for the shaking etc. However, she said she had to keep moving because we were all over the place. Likely story.....

The clip above is kind of dark. It was nightime and we think M&D were trying to save electricity. Thanks for stopping by to visit.

PeeEss: This weekend we are going to have a lot of company. The 2 little humans and their Dad and Murphy and his Mom & Dad. Should be fun.

It's All About Toys

Hi everyone, We just got back. We missed reading all your bloggies but we will be visiting yours over the next few days. We were gone for over a week at the cabin. We like it there becuz there is so much to do and sniff. Mom is still working on getting some more of the pictures done. This is me Sasha. Yes I am finally getting another chance to put my two paws to work and tell of our cabin adventure. I shared my good tug toy with Ernie and he wouldn't share. So me being the good girl M & D say I am, I picked out another toy to play with. Maybe he will want it. He kind of does that. Here is Ernie with a bone (nylabone) and my pink tug. He likes to play keep a way. Mom says I am good since I am twice his size I could take anything I wanted from him. But I really like the little guy. He is my best friend. Next to M & D that is. See how nice I am. I am giving him my pretty please face. Notice how he won't look at me.
How do you like those eyes. He is so dark and he has such dark brown Schnoodle eyes that it is hard to get good pics of him. He is our favorite Schnoodle. Of course we also like Bailey. He is about the onliest other Schnoodle we know. Ernie and his favorite squeaky toy. He loves to run after it and then take the lonnnnng way back to Mom by going around the cabin AND the shed.
The sun was out and it was much cooler but Mom said it was a beautiful Fall Day. Whatever that is. We just knew it felt good to be running and playing and not getting so hot.
Gues the little guy was ready to go in and get some more water. OR --- maybe he was just taking a breather so he wouldn't have to chase it.
This is me Sasha with my favorite toy. A Kong Wubba. It used to squeak, but I guess it got worn out or something. You know the orange toy that Ernie has and loves used to be mine. But when he came to live with us, I let him play with it. Now it is his favorite and M & D bought me a new toy. It's not the same but still fun.
More later. Have a great week!
