Legs

We did some leg wresting at Bill's house. I am usually okay at that. I was going undefeated, nevermind that that competition was all 15 years younger than me and then Big Jake steps up to the plate, he flipped me so fast. He walked off without any gloating. The one that I expected to win though was Bree, she flipped me over and I don't even think she exerted any energy. She is one tough chicka. No wonder she is the manager at Chick-fil-a...she doesn't need to worry about everyone giving her any lip because she would just beat them up!
We sat around and listened to Bree and Beth play the guitar and sing. I loved it. And the other bonus about it is that they sounded really good too. It made me want to go camping. We (Bill and I) are trying to get everyone to buy a kayak and we will all go camping and kayaking. So Winsor family, this is your invitation, if you want to have the time of your life, start saving, they are not cheap!

If this is Austin, I still love you

We much fun in Texas. Leander (Austin area) is so beautiful. Will said that he would even be willing to live there and loves it. Of course with those words, Bill took us around to look at some houses...way out of our price range...not that we will be moving anyway so why not dream big?
It took us about 16 hours or so to get there and 13 to get home. It is handy to have a map so you don't rely completely on map quest. The kids did great on the road and enjoyed staying in hotels. Kind of exciting... I love to stay in hotels too. I got really sick one day and remained sick until, well, I still am. That was a bummer but I really tried to be a trouper and played kickball anyways. Wes gave Will some exercise by having him pull him and Skyler on skateboards with a bike. It is good for him and he had fun doing it.
It was so much fun and we miss everyone already. When we were turning down our street getting home, Cole told WIll to turn back around and go to Texas! The next day or two he was looking for his favorite cousin, Jake. It was a trip worth taking and one we plan on again and again and again.

Fire, fire!

We finally got all of our leaves raked up and burnt about 2 weeks ago. It has been so rainy that we could never do it because they would never burn. We have a big back yard with a ton of trees. Walking through the yard the leaves would come up to mid calf. Will used his leaf blower and he made a big pile and spread it out in a thick line along the fence. Of course we made sure there was some space between the fence line and leaves. Will also made a pile for Cole to play in. We lit the fire and Cole jumped in his pile of leaves and sat there. He ate a sandwich and watched the fire for about an hour in the pile of leaves. I went in and put the kids to bed, went back out and Will and I watched the fire until it was just about out. We went in. About an hour later, I was getting ready for bed and I just looked out the window to make sure the fire was still out...It wasn't. The back cornor of our yard and the neighbors yard was on fire. I get will and we grab the hose and go to spray it out. We sprayed and sprayed, finally, it was out. Then, we went back in. Will was playing nintendo and I finished getting ready for bed. I looked again, once again it was on fire. We go back out and spray some more and we got the rake too to help out. Finally, we were in the clear. I told Will, "only you can prevent forest fires." He just rolled his eyes and told me to go to bed.

Everything is bigger in Texas

We are headed to Texas tomarrow. I am so excited! We will stay with my brother and meet up with my Mom and two other brothers. Will asked if we needed to stay in a hotel, I told him, "there is always floor space. We are Winsors, there is always room for one more!" I will post some pictures when we get back and hopefully I will have something fun to say.
