4th weekend

Monday we went out on "Uncle Buck's" (he is not really an uncle, he is Will's first cousin. Cole has just always called him that) pontoon boat. It was really fun and it was also fun getting to know Tina and Carley. Cole and Sage still say in their bed time prayers, "thanks for letting us go on the boat". Do you think it made an impression? The water was so nice to swim in. It was just a little bit cooler thant he air so it was nice getting in and kept you just cool enough. I love when it is like that. Sage, who is so proud that she can swim by herself, was not feeling very confident in her aquatic abilities and needed Will or I to hold her the whole time swimming. That is okay, I am happy with the pool. We will take what we can get.

Our 4th was fun. We went to church, had a BBQ and then did our own fireworks. It is so nice here because you have a huge selection of fireworks and they are legal! I love it. Cole was able to light and shoot the roman candals. (This is why you need Dads. Cole would be such a sissy if I were the only parent!) It scares me to death but as long as Will is there, I don't say a word. There were a few other people on our street doing the big fireworks so we just walked up the hill and watched a great show.

Thank you!!!

Happy birthday to the greatest nation ever! I love America and I love the freedoms that come with it. Thank you to all the many members of the military, both living and not. I know they are not just military, they are sons, daughters, parents, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Some love their jobs, others don't. I don't care why you joined, help with school, didn't know what else to do, pressure from others, because you love America and want to fight for it or some other reason. I am grateful for your sacrifice of time, energy, life threatening situations and pride. I hope you can instill in your family and friends love, pride and respect for this country. I am proud to be an American! God Bless the U.S.A.

Here are some of the many military members. I love them all and are very grateful for them. If I have forgotten someone, I am sorry but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
