watched the swimming and table-tennis of the olympics this week.so exciting! especially yesterday's match,li jia wei vs the north korean.it was sooo close.a pity she didnt win.the last game was matched point by point till the korean finally won.hai...and jia wei lost today's match too.so close to winning a medal.nv been so excited watching a game.
had my 1st lab prac this week.had to look thru the microscope to identify cells.but i couldnt see anything clear enuf to identify,except the dirt on the slides dat is.then we had to draw a boxed image of blood cells in a vessel i tink.didnt hav time to draw there.2 classes had to share 1 pathetic image.so guess wad,everybody whipped out their camera hp and clicked away~ the bliss of technology.haha...
after that,i went orchard to meet up with shiwen,meizhen and xinyi.its been a mth since we last went out.its been a mth since i last went out with anybody.had dinner at mos burger and went to kino.den we stood at the mrt station till it was time to go home.lol...had planned to go mc cafe but we were stuck there.jus chatted alot the whole evening.it was a simple outing but it felt gd.

looking for pple with 'image'.much more superficial than the american version.dun like...but itwatched s'pore idol this week.its totally hilarious!!the lemon tree guy was so funny~he really earned the title of s'pore's william hung.to think pple will be proud to declare dat.lol...and there was this disgusting 'full time eyebrow plucker'.had met him on orchard road.he approach me and shiwen den ask if wan da ge ge to shape our eyebrows.disgusted...but overall,american idol is much better.got simon cowell.haha...tink he'll faint if he hear the s'pore contestants.the judges seem to bes a gd comedy though.haha...
as for sch,very stressed studying biochem.the lecturer seems to be setting to break a new record each lecture.this week,he finished 63 slides in less than 1.5 hrs!cant stand it.he thinks we all shd have the basics oredi and its an ok speed.but there's alot of new things.even to those with bio background.so of cos i dun understand.argh...he talk so fast,all his words get slurred together.mus get tape recorder.haha...really hope to meet up with some frens soon.like no life lidat.
oh yah,i stayed at kawei's hostel yesterday.its quite nice actually.got a chalet feeling.pple are jogging at like 1am.and playing volleyball and badminton too.seems cool.jus dat her hostel is super far frm sch.hav to go up and down countless of stairs.tiring...but i would hav stayed at e hostel if i could find a room mate.at least got free internet access.and probably get to noe more pple.shiwen,wish u were here.sigh...

ah~home sweet home.finally 1 week has past.the air has never been fresher.haha...i'm not exaggerating.the air in the west sux.all e smoke frm big lorries and buses.and its near industrial areas.worst is,there's this weird,smell dat i absolutely hate.so smelly~shuhui says its the 'jurong soil' smell.lol...
its fun to stay outside with no restrictions.can sleep anytime i want.haha...but home is still more comfortable.the noises there can get creepy sometimes.all the weird noises even at midnite.and the house is full of flaws we didnt noe before.our kitchen floor got flooded on the 1st day cos of the rain.one of the windows like going to drop off any min.the main door cant be locked cos lock oredi cant unlock.the fridge and flush is spoilt...and i dun like the flat being so dark.but overall its a new experience.its better too cos i get to study with lee pei.can discuss our work.
sch is less stressful than last week.though its still a mad rush for printing of notes.and the biochem lecturer still goes at a pace i cant catch.got lousy biophysics and biochem tutors.but tink organic chem will be not bad.
things can get better.and it will.someday...till then,i'll miss u
