The last post in this blog
I've decided that this will be the last post aka 547th post in this blog. Reason being, i wanna have a new blog skin w/o carrying over my old posts. For the past occasions when i change skins. i'll just carry over the prev posts. As a result, the format of the old posts either dun fit into the new layout or i'll forget which are the layouts that i actually have before.
Started this blog back when i was young and 18... lol... so basically over here is my collection of my happenings (of my not so happening mundane life), rants, complaints, opinions, thoughts and little things which i found interesting etc during my late teens and the transition yr of 20. =)
Actually i wanted to retain this blog address for my new blog, but i realised that they dun accept '_' in blog adds anymore... so if i change the add for this blog, i can't create a new blog with the url http://blue_soul.blogspot.com again.
Hee... so this will be my new blog add. http://w3ini.blogspot.com Will start my entries of adulthood over there.

Another week back in sch
The cny + mid-sem break has ended... and it's another week back in school. Nv did much during the break actually... school work wise, just finished up ana lab reports + webcasts and the break is up!
Last fri we had a photoshoot... at first it was quite interesting... there's make up artist to paint ur face, and people fussing over your hair... but after a while it gets quite boring actually... having to repeat the shoots upon the detection of a single flaw. Moreover, the weird laughter of the photographer kinda send chills down my spine =S
After the thing we did our own un-pro photoshoot... haha... time passes v fast that day... nv do much and the whole day is gone! We went to hcjc +aj in the afternoon to promote concert... met dennis yeo in hc... haha... he's still the same, as crappy as last time. Back in AJ, we went to visit the sculptures we've put up and saw that the plague describing the sculptures and acknowledgements!
Sunday was the dateline for s/u.... nv s/u drugs & soc in the end... hoping that i can get at least a B. On one hand, it does not seem too diff... but on the other hand, it's hard to predict wat will happen... Wished that i could s/u OB instead but can't cos of the minor... sometimes i wonder why am i taking so much trouble to do a minor...
Then it was back to the normal hectic/not so hectic wk of school... haha... Mon was as usual. Tues was the incident of the cancelled lesson + sleeping away of the whole afternoon + start studying for ana test. Bumped the whole day in lab on wed (see prev entry) + try to cramp as much as i can for drugs & soc and ana chem during the nite.
Thurs (yest) gotta get out early cos of drugs & soc test... but then the heavy morn traffic due the the rain held me up... sighz... in the end i was a little panicky and got a little late... but i still got more than sufficient time to do the paper cos dunno wat to write anyway. haha. Ana chem was more of a 'copy session'. practically copied everything from tx book/ mass tutorials/ assignments... except for the last qns... i didn't know where to flip to copy at 1st, when i finally found the page, not much time left... It's heartening that i can search for my ans... but it doesn't feel good knowing that i only know how to copy, but do not understand the concepts well enuff. The long day made me really tired... wanted to slack ard at nite but ended up sleeping at 10 =P
Today is fri... my free day and my bdae =P/ =S... a day of not doing any sch work after a little tiring wk =P. Time to start organic lab report and study for organic test on mon after today... which is v soon...

A day in the organic lab The pic above shows a tiny vial of 1-phenylethanol synthesized in the 1st expt, i've been synthesizing this carcinogenic compound! At the end of the experiment, i collected that little amt of transparent stuff... not even sure if it's the product... it seems like the rotatry evaporator simply just evaporate anything away! Perhaps we didn't set the correct temp... haha... We were like just talking for a tiny moment and jin qiang's r.b.f became empty! No product yield... lol. After spending so much sweat over 2 expts... wat we did was to pour everything away! eewww... tat's so 'xin tong' lo... but can't possibly steal them and take them home for keepsake either... i dun wanna poison myself to death... haha Showcasing the large collection of glassware collected from the various cupboards during the expt... haha... but no, it's not all used by me la... Some of it are not mine.
Spent my time from 10am - 5pm in the organic lab on wed... with the exception of a 5 min toilet break... Really a very long time but that's the actual time allocated actually... No mood to go for lunch as the time when we're usually free to leave is the usual crowded lunch hour.

Been looking ard at digicams lately, trying to get a good deal... was at bishan best denki today, where the person recommended canon ixus 60... The features sounds good, except that there's no batt level indicator... for the normal price of $499, it comes with: Then i saw nikon S8 and S9 while browsing the webbie. At 1st was thinking of gg to IT fair to take a look... but seems like there's good promos elsewhere too... was thinking if i shld buy at bishan instead...cos the promo at best ends this sunday... n IT fair would be crowded, hard to ask for assistance.

Oh well...one of the most sian things that can happen is that you make all the effort to travel to school... but there's no lessons!
Worse thing is i gotta wake up early in the morning at 6 plus, makan my breakfast, dressed for presentation and made my way to school in the heavy morning traffic... after a long journey, reached sch... only to get an sms from a fellow classmate saying that lesson today cancelled... my only lesson for the day somemore... sighz...
Sms-ed my project mates but turns out that they were smart/ lucky enough to decide to skip lesson today for watever reason... Hence, i just hang ard for 45 mins in the com lab... print some stuff b4 heading off....
Took the BTC bus to try out a new today since it's so uneventful... It's a nice way of gg home... quite fast since not much traffic in the late morning... maybe can try this route home on thurs nites after pilates... just that there's no direct bus outside BTC busstop to my hse... so might be more ma fan.
Oh well... to end off, gg to sch for nothing sux... esp so much travelling time is spent on nothing!

Feel like cooking + eating potatoes and egg... so i kinda attempt to cook them just now... Looked up some rosti recipes before i started cooking... but basically i only fried the potatoes in oil and tried to press them all together... Doesn't turn out very nice in terms of looks... but then it's still edible... haha... i shld use non-stick pan another time instead... the potatoes stuck to the wok. Lost soul buried her memories on

Chalet on Fri
It was eve of cny eve... met up with kar boon at 4 plus b4 heading to costa sands downtown east to check in... slacked and walked ard for awhile since nobody else arrived... went to look at the ever so tempting swimming pool (shld have gone earlier to swim!) and had a view of wild wild wet over there... somehow it does not look as nice as it seems...
Then siling came and we started the fire, b4 david n hong sheng took over. Had fun bbq-ing, watching tv, cutting cake, chit chatting and playing with ps2 brought by ming teck... haha... those kinda games which u use movement from ur hand or other parts of ur body instead of controller to navigate. Went to bed ard 3 plus, but din really get to sleep until 5... then 7 plus woke up liao, went b`fast with mei lan n si ling, while the rest either cont to sleep or 'took their turn' to sleep.
CNY eve
So tired after chalet le but i still went j8 to buy nail polish n lunch... hahaz.. n cont watching tv at home b4 gg to take a nap. At nite was the usual steamboat dinner at my grandparent's hse. Watched more tv upon reaching home, tried to do french manicure on my fingernails, but only the ones on my left pinkie, ring n middle finger turned out nice... lol... so in the end i washed off the rest. Anyway, the white nail polish falls off easily too.
1st Day of New Yr
Just the normal bai nian. I am eating too much new yr goodies while at other pple's hse... maybe cos there's nothing much to do... haha... so eating can kill time? I have alot of food at my hse too... but mainly those baked pastry stuff, like pineapple tarts, cornflakes cookies... but i seldom eat while @home... dunno y also... maybe cos there's other stuff to keep me occupied... haha... i welcome others to come and eat for me! Haha... but nobody comes my hse to bai nian one...
2nd Day
Which is today... didn't go anywhere except the temple in the morning... came home to zzz more, watch some tv and watch 花样少年少女 on you tube... haha... spend like 3 hrs trying to watch 2 episodes? wanted to watch wat i missed out last thurs n fri... but ended up 2 epi on you tube = 3 epi on tv.
Rest of the break
Yep... so basically i have slacked for 4 days.. it was relaxing... but well... i guess it's time to start doing my school work liao... for a start, i can cont doing my lab report. Hahaz... I guess i won't be too productive this mid sem... but hopefully i can complete all these during the break:

-Ana Chem Lab Report
-Start revising for tests. There's drugs and org. And ana... which was like not further confirmed... hmmm
That's enuff or too much for me to complete alr... given my speed... haha... considering tml will be gg sheen's hse for her 21st b`dae party, fri morn got harmoc photoshoot @ east coast + maybe cycling after that n then prac at nite? And i'm thinking of swimming either wed or thurs afternoon too... time for some exercise!
