Nate's First Deer

Nate got his first rifle for his 7th birthday, January 5th. Rob gave it to him a little early so he could practice shooting and maybe get a deer this year. Nate really wanted to go hunting with Uncle Chris, so they headed to Burnet to hunt.

The gun is NOT loaded!!!!!

Nate said he was going to shoot a 2o point. Far from it! But he did bring dinner home. Fried deer meat is the best! Yum!!! Rob and Nate have both killed a doe this year so we'll have deer meat to last us until next deer season. Woohoo!!! Saves sooo much money at the grocery store!

Fun Finds

It is a cool rainy day in here Austin. The kids and I are still in our pajamas. I've been washing clothes, cleaning and cuddling with little Ty; he's not feeling too well. Poor baby boy!!! I have a few to share:

1. After eating two doughnuts this morning, I've decided that it is time I get back on Weight Watchers. My pants are way tight and don't look or feel good on. I feel so UGH all the time.

2. I also want to start running again. I've only been running once or twice a week the past few months and that is NOT good!

3. You all know how much I LOVE Sonic!!!! I'm trying to cut back on getting my Diet Cokes every single day. I've only had one today. Going to drink water the rest of the day.

4. My kids are driving me bonkers today. The fighting between Addison and Nate is insane.

5. I'll be 35 in a few weeks!! YIKES!! Not looking forward to the big day.

6. Has anyone ever been to Turks and Caicos??? If so, where did you stay?

7. Nate shot his first deer last night... pictures later!!! Go Nate!! DINNER!!

8. Feeling so blessed to have healthy kids, a wonderful hubs, great friends and a fabulous twinkie and mom!!!!!

This is what we've been doing the last few days! Playing and enjoying the new toys. Kids' rooms and the gameroom is overflowing with toys.

We pick up the game room at least twice a day and it still is a mess!!!!

Getting ready to lay on the floor with my babies and watch Dispicable Me... way cute movie!! Oh, I am NOT wanting to take down the Christmas tree, it's sooo magical!!! I think I'll wait til next week.

We've Been Good

or at least the jolly old red man thought so!!!! We were so exhausted from all the traveling that we forgot to leave cookies and milk out for Santa. OOPS! We also went to bed without putting Santa gifts out. Thankfully, I woke up in the middle of the night to put them out. I was scared Nate was going to wake up before us.
