Updates!

I haven't blogged in Months! I guess I don't think I get to many people look at my blog anymore so I don't waste my time, so maybe I am doing this to remember stuff as a diary, I have been really good at working out over the last year, I ran my first 5k which was my goal, I had another 2 lined up and hurt my back, see at first I thought it was cross fit killing me so I quit going and started to run more, well that was great I cut 5 minutes of my time and was super proud of myself, I was excited for my race the following week, I woke up one morning and thought I had a pinched nerve and it was HORRIBLE it hurt to stand, sit, walk, my right side hurt so bad I eventually started to drag my leg cause it hurt so bad, I went to the doctor and found it I had a bad disc in my back and he sent me to physical therapy, I went to therapy and he told me I was done running for 6-8 weeks let me tell you I cried, I was so upset I was mad, he told me I had to make a lifestyle change, and so I did, I have exercises I have to do for the rest of my life or my back will get bad again, its been hard my leg is still a little numb but its better, I realized if your core of your back isn't great your body isn't great.  But I do have Spartan race coming up to get my butt moving again.
Chris got a super duper deal on a truck from his work granite it needed a motor but that is totally in Chris's ally lol, Chris sold his GM and started working on his new truck, I would have to admit in the last three weeks he hasn't been home allot between work and working on his truck, but he is done and its such a nice truck I am proud of him for doing this.  I know he put a lot of money into but we came out ahead and this truck will pull the camper tons tons better, well and he likes it....
Kylie is loving Middle school I cause they finally get treated like big kids instead of little elementary kids.  Kylie has made so many new friends its fun, she had changed allot since last year, its so much fun having her this age.
Emily is a mighty 2nd grader and thinks she's the bomb! she was coaching football for all the boys in that grade but got fired for not showing up for there practices hahaha so now she Cheer leading for them, wow she has such a ruff life, she tells me she got everyone mad at her cause they all invited her to there houses and she went with the first person that asked, so now she's booked up for a while, she told me yesterday she got a birthday invitation for a new girl but had no plans to go.. well then, she keeps me laughing some times, but sometimes I have to remind her to be nice!.  I love my kids

Boulter Family Reunion

We went to Flaming george like every year with Casey and Neika, but instead of rafting we went boating
The 6 kids play so dang good together its wonderful! I don"t think we had a single fight!
Chris's goal was to board and he did it pretty quick! he looked pretty awesome out there
Emily loved the water so much I think they were about to turn into fish
The girls were being goofy. It worked out pretty good, we camped out at the beach in our trailer docked the boat at the beach, there was this little area the kids could play in it cause the water was low hear, and they did for hours with this raft, when we wanted to boat the boat was on the other side of the girls, there were so many animal's that ran thru your camping area it was fun.  We had a great time as usual glad we can get together and do this

Emily's 1st triathlon

Emily is wearing the yellow and black life jacket, waiting her turn to go
We have been learning to swim on our tummy not our back! silly girl
This was her last event and she had to run and 1/2 mile she was worn out.
Let's start from the start our little neighbors did a triathlon a month or so back and got Emily all excited about it so I signed her up for the one in Roosevelt, a triathlon is three events, running, swimming and biking, each race is different just depends on the sponser's, she Ran 1/2 mile, Rode her bike a mile and swam 50 yards not a big deal, but it is for the kids, we biked a lot and ran a lot and swam to prepare for this she was so nervous but excited, they don't time the kids because everyone is a winner, at the end everyone got a medal and snacks she wore that medal for days and has shown everyone, but why wouldn't you brag about it? this is a huge accomplishment for a kids and an adult, I am proud of her for giving it a try and she want to do more, maybe next year, And I hope that dang hip of hers is better she was struggling after the run but she wanted to finish.

I did it! my first 5k

Coming up to the finish line.
Kristine, Lance and Me (I know my face is red, I dont sweat in the face so I go RED!!
 Our Support Group!!

I have always wanted to run in a race a 5k to be exact, I have always admired people that did, they inspired me to, but honestly in my mind I was lazy and thought that it was a lot of work and I really wasent wanting to do anything about it to make it to a run.  Last November I think I became ready I decided I was going to really work on losing weight and getting into shape, I started out doing Zumba and loving it but after a while I got bored, so I started going to the gym and did a lot of differnt stuff there, I even went to some Aerobic classes and weight class's to change it up abit, as soon as it got warm I started to slowly start to run, but by all mean I started out like a few houses running and had to walk for a while, it was so hard to run but I loved to run and wanted to go further, I kept at it and it got better it has taken a long time and a lot of work to get were I felt I could run a 5k, I registered in April knowing I had a few months and that would help me stay motivated, In May I started at Cross fit and quit going to the gym, I started that a few times a week and would fit running in there some way, I did wish I had ran more than I had before the 5k but I was fine, I had ran 3 miles before so I had a feel to it before that actual race.  I will admit, I have sweat a lot and ran my butt off and did exercise's  that I have never done, and pushed my body further than I have ever done and I made it!! I did it, I made my goal and came across that finish line. Kristine asked me if I got emotional and for a sec I thought "oh I'm not the only one" but really I did when I stood at the start I was excited, nervous, I was actually making my dream come true, and I could see the guy waving the flag and got me so excited and to run pass all the people watching made me proud I was actually in the race.  And when the finish line came up I was so excited I made it and the best part Chris and the girls and my family were chearing me on. Thanks Kristine and Lance for helping me.

Emily's last day as a 1st grader

This is Emily's last day as a 1st grader, she had a great year and a great teacher, she made lots of friends more than just boy's this year, she still only brings home boys but I have given up on suggestion girls would be great, but she keeps telling me girls are drama and what do you say to that, they are!!! Emily's program was just her class, and did a little story about all the different Disney charterers, Emily was Cinderella and did a great job.

How we ended up in Vernal

Long story short, just shortly after Chris and I got married, Clay his old boss came to Chris and asked him about coming back to Expressway and managed his store in Vernal, we took a trip out there one day and to check it out and to see Vernal we were pretty excited about going, so a short while later we moved there. I transferred to the Vernal Checker and we moved into a town home with some pretty fun neighbors, we loved it there, but after about a 1 1/2 Chris's boss asked us to move back to Spanish fork and managed the store there, at the time we had Kylie she was a few months old we were really wanting to come back to Spanish fork so we left Vernal.
We them bought a home in Spanish fork and lived there for the next 7 years, we really loved our home, but in the back of our minds we always missed Vernal, we had a lot of fun memory's there, we had made allot of friends not that we hadn't in Spanish fork, but I think we seemed to relate more or something, anyways an opportunity came up to move back to Vernal with a different company and we took it, in 2008 we moved back, Now let me tell you allot has changed in the 7 years of being gone, the drilling boom was going bigger than before but slowed down after we got there but is better now, the city has grown like crazy, but still the small town feel, we are minutes from the mountains, plenty of places to ride our bikes, and plenty of outdoor things to do, we have really loved it hear and the kids have loved it too. One thing I have noticed about my job is, Auto parts hear are mostly ran my girls and a few men, but with the oil fields there is better money there than at the auto parts store.....
But you got to admit, where else can you go and see the dinosaur in your town.....

My new hobbie

Isn't that awesome!! found it on pintrest and I find this so true to me!! hint to my last post I quit drinking Mountain dew and decided I was going to get in shape cause I want to run a 5k this year, I actually have for the last 2 yrs but haven't seem to have the desire or the motivation to get of the couch and do something about it, so last November something finally triggered and i got of the couch and started to do something about it, I started doing Zumba and I love it, but I love to run and every time I would go for walks I wanted to just run doesn't really work like that, but I have now started going to the gym and started to train my body and my mind to run, I am in love with it, my only complaint is my mind wants to go further than my body but I am working on it and will get there soon, I am planning on running in the strawberry days run in June with Kristine and Lance, and I may do the run in April hear in Vernal with some friends, they say I should be ready by then, I start to train with them this week, I am super excited and hope the weight will come off fast, I have been working on losing weight for the last 3 months and am down 20 lbs so with my extra gym time it better keep coming off, cause I started doing step aerobics and haven't since high school and I started that last week and I love it but it is kicking my butt, so hopefully between step aerobics and running and other gym things I can do it. I am just thankful Chris is being good about me going to the gym 3-4 times a week, last week I convinced him to come, I told him I needed one more day in for the week so we went together as a family and honestly I need that extra push so thank you!!

Mountain dew

Doesn't this look yummy?? i think so every time I see a 32oz fountain drink with ice in it, I have learned I need to walk away, but this is the longest time in my life I have went without it yup 3+ months and counting. I am pretty proud of my self, it took me along time to stop thinking I needed one when I really didn't, I decided this is why people cant quit smoking because of the addictions, but I survived it, and yes I do want a drink some times but I have to tell my self I don't need it....so I gave my self a pat today on the back...
